Hi.

I think AT is too strong to fold here. ATs is definitely a call. With ATo if his range is really 20% over a larger sample this would be a pretty easy call. Given the smaller sample I would probably prefer 4betting here. I would call AJo and KQo though.

I really have problems calling 3bets oop BvB. I think I dont even have a callingrange vs a 3bet from a reg 100bb stacks. Would you say it is necessary to implement postflopmoves when we call hands like AT,AJ,KQ BvB vs a 3bet. I prefer to fold or 4bf those hands most of the time.

1. you need to know which boards to attack or to float
2. you need to have a good idea of your equity on various textures vs villain's range
3. you must know when to call down

basically if you have a good understanding of these 3 points, you can defend much wider. There are a ton of NL100 players facing the same problems as you, so did I about 1-2 years ago.

These days I defend way more hands, my fold to 3b dropped from 65%->55% cos I understand everything better.

You must know how often your opponent will connect with the flop, and also know their barreling tendencies.

At the time I decided for a call but when I reviewed the hand I think we don't have enough certainty of his range I should be 4bet/folding.

Ok let's assume he has 15-20% range over a larger sample. I think this would be a clear c/c spot and you can decide later on whether you want to turn your hand into a bluff or not. If the board comes out all low or pairing cards then I'm more inclined to showdown my hand.

Equity Win Tie

I gave him an 18% range and you can see that you have way too much equity to fold, assuming he cbets 100% of his range.

I thought the same, I cannot fold this flop.

Turn plan would be to c/c T and A, c/f on most other cards.

On a T, the board will have JXXT which gives AK KQ AQ gutshots now so I think we have to call turn again cos we have barely enough equity to continue. On an Ace I think it's pretty obvious why we have to call.

On a King and Queen, while these are also cards which are going to get bluffed at really often, I don't think we can c/c again cos our hand is too weak to do so and also c/r seems to be overplaying and getting overly optimistic with merely an over card + a gutshot.

Unless our read is really solid that his range is super wide here, I cannot see ourselves having a profitable c/c or c/r. So c/f now
