flopped quads vs turned straight flush..
Bah, you're lucky, I flopped quads against runner-runner straight flush
nothing toooo amazingly bad but i remember 2..
1: i flopped the nut boat with a pocket pair and the guy flopped quads.
2: i had the nut flush vs rivered straight flush! it was one of those moments where you thought right well.. HE CANNOT HAVE THAT! i really want to fold but i cant!
and in fact that happened to me yesterday only he turned the straight flush. i played for pot control and lost the minimum ![]()
i guess AIPF with AA/KK and the guy turns quad 7777 kinda sucks too!
I fell off a bunch of stairs when I was a kid. But like with any other bad beat - I just dusted it off and kept going.

I have chained up my inner troll.
I don't know that this qualifies as a bad beat, but it certainly is a solid body blow.
A board like that and I'm thinking straight or set.
And yes, I'm made similar calls -- hopefully all now in past.

I knew his game bro, he usually slowplays big hand, and when he have normal hand he over bets that's it ;P
but he knows that you know this and decided to mix it up a bit by slowplaying normal hands and overbetting monsters
so he shoves here thinking you will fold??? ♦

Do you think a fish know all this? lol
just bet/fold the turn, you potentially gave free card on a draw heavy board for two opponents.
+ what happens when he bets like 80% pot on turn/blank river ? you calling it down ? check/raising turn ?
Hi SherlockHolmes2ez, just to let you know I've merged your thread with out existing bad beat thread
Small one
AQ<AJ on A34 flop, she went allin with the AJ and I called AQ. J OTT obv, luckily she only had like $60 left so the pot was only about $200 but still kinda sucks considering prior to the hand I was up $230 without seeing a showdown which was cool.
