Hi, ramadas,
for now I moved your post into the No Limit strategy discussion forum.

We have a thread on the General Poker Discussion board called "Bad Beats".
If you want to show us a bad beat, just post a reply in that thread and everyone will be more likely to see it.

In the space of three days, preflop all ins (This is why I hate $1.50HU games so many donk all ins)

KK vs QJs
KK vs 78s
KK vs T7s
KK vs 53o

In not one of these situations did my Kings hold up :(
Beginning to think I should follow Fillmaff's wise advice "Fold kings pre if there is a raise or a possibility of a raise" :f_biggrin:

Hi Stompy,
Yeah, that happens to everyone. Welcome to Poker!
And welcome to PokerStrategy.com, too...

We have a bad beat thread in the General Poker Discussion forum -- If you post your bad beats there, you might find a more sympathetic audience.

If you're unsure of your play, you might want to post your hands in one of the Hand Evaluation forums.

Using a hand converter will make the hands a lot easier for other members to follow.
Instructions are here: How to post a hand for discussion.

Sorry about your bad beats. If you're not already, you'll get use to 'em

Good Luck!

Live Poker, NL 1/2 $500 max
Villain (UTG+2, $280): very loose fairly aggessive fish
Hero (MP, $700): playing fairly tight agressive/solid poker. May be percieved as a nit because most people live play a ton of hands while I was being more selective.
SB posts $1, BB posts $2, UTG straddles for $5

Hero is dealt AQo,
UTG+1 limps, Villain raises to $15, Hero reraises to $35, folds to Villain, Villain calls
Villain bets $50 "dark"
Flop is A76hh ($83)
Villain bets $50, Hero calls
Turn is a 7c ($183)
Villain goes AI for $195, Hero calls
Villain flips over 99 and says "if you have an Ace you win"
Hero flip over AQ
River is a 9h ($573)

silver lining: Altho I was angry, I did not tilt and continued playing my A-game and eventually got unstuck (I was in the game for $600, so it took my like 5 hours to get unstuck) and then left.

My all time bad beat.

was a MTT for a WSOP 12k ticket at stars.

1st recieved - a 12k for ticket w/expenses. This was when you got the 12k cash.

2nd recieved - 500$

3rd - 0$

3 of us were left.

me and big stack had fairly even stacks but he had a few more chippies.

small stack had like 2-3bb's

I was dealt AA, big stack had A8o, small stack had XX.

pre flop big stack pushed all in into my big blind with A8o, small stack folds I call with AA.

outcome: big stack hit runner runner flush with his 8. I get KO'd for 0$. I smashed my mouse off the wall. :)

and thats poker :)

This is bad!!

You know when a hand like that is dealt and before I make the call, I just know it spells problems. These guys are just lucky to often :(

I just had one of the worst bad beats I will probably ever experience. In a nutshell, my aces got cracked by, I guess you can say a maniac player who called my 3-bet all in with J4s and caught runner-runner straight.

Needless to say I wasn't too happy, not only because I lost to J4s, but because me and this player had a feud going on before we reached the final table in a 18 man tournament.

I'll most likely get over it and thought I should share you one of my bad beats.

what's your worst beat?
