Thanks too all, but only few of you answered how do you deal with TILT, I think it would help us all if we share our ''medicine'' for tilt..

For example, I just lost with AA against QQ - the guy floped quad queens ?(
KK vs TT, yesterday AK vs A5 and unfortunately many more...

How to keep calm and not to react on hands like this?

Thanks,
promising

seriously man if you cannot deal with losing to a lower pair when they hit a set or losing losing when you only have ace high (ak v a5 and they hit a 5) then you really need to work on your mindset (which i guess is why you asked the quetion). I hear the poker mindset book is really good. I just tell myself that I played the hand well (if i did) and move on). play enough hands and you will make heaps more money from AA v QQ than lose.

Don't worry about loosing the a worse hand you got your chips in with the best hand which is all you can do.

Try changing poker sites to see if your luck runs better on there

You must leave if your tilting and you'll be in the money :)

I find your name quite funny (Promising) like your game :)

Reminds me of the 3 legged dog called lucky

Worst. Advice. Ever

Im a new player and before I got my free $50 I read up on strategies and such. What I can suggest is picking a strategy, sticking to bankroll management 100% without question and not letting yourself play emotionally. I lost AA to QQ and a queen on the flop, KK to AA and AA to a flush on the river. What I keep in mind when I lose these hands is that on the long run I have higher equity and the odds are in my favor. Play your hands the way you should and you will make a profit in the long run.

Bankroll management is key for success.

that's stupid!!!
If you can't handle to lose don't play bigger limits. But then do give your self a shot to win big.
One time I played my last $$$ in 100+$ super turbo sng on FTP and won it.
It was mega fun,big adrenalin and won like 450 dolazzzz in 20 min.
Poker is gamble if you are a math guy who does not like adrenalin is up to you.
I will always like to risk cuz it is fun.

Andy Beal took all the money for the Vegas poker elite in one point they were all broke. If you never go broke you never played poker

COMPLETELY ignore this advise, find out where this guy is playing and play solid poker against him! This kind of talk is for recreational players who don't mind losing money imo.

My advice would be;

Have a break. Go over the articles again and start from the lowest limits. We've all had swings, anyone who has'nt is either lying, lucky or has not played enough! :)

DO NOT play any casino games, the best they can do is GUARANTEE that you will lose 3 - 4% of what you wager. Trust me on this I work in the online gaming industry.

Follow bankroll management and be patient. Ultimately it's down to you. If you can at least get into the swing of NOT losing money and take it from there it's a start.

Hope you turn things around mate. All the best :)

Thank you all for encouragement and good advices. Last few days I was reading a lot and watching many videos and I've changed my approach to the game and I'm not that frustrated after bad beats and I think that's a big step. I'm planning to find some part time job,so I will be able to deposit soon and apply bankroll management.

I know I'm a bit late to the game here, but I'm listening to "The eightfold path to poker enlightenment" right now by Tommy Angelo (author of Elements of Poker as well) and I can recommend it highly! It's more about mindset than it's about the game itself, but everything is related to poker and done so very well.

I think everyone should get their hands on this, pro or noob.

They made fish salad out of Andy Beal. You must be the dressing.

Umm, not according to the "The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King," which suggests the matches were actually very close. Beal lost overall (of course) but had many winning sessions and even winning visits to LV where he left with mirrions of the pro's $.
