I don't play MSS, but I imagine this is too loose to defend... It's a defend in 100bb and probably most likely a 3bet becaause it is pretty close to the bottom of our defense range, which should say something about flatting here in this case.

As played I don't see the point to xr flop and xr turn, just xr flop and barrel off - you can still get stacks in by the river. He will still probably station vs you with all overpairs and I don't know what else lol, hard to say if he peels you with a hand like AJs, maybe he has some A-high BDFDs but I think that's quite an optimistic assumption. Still, just xr flop and barrel off - no need to get fps.

If you barrel turn yourself and get jammed on it's a tough spot because I don't see how you can get away from the hand. You most likely won't barrel <$2.50 which means you have like $5.25 left in your stack and when he jams it feels like the pot odds are just too good to call. The other option is to not xr flop...

Reaaaaly loose defend, i would snap fold it. Btw this MSS thing absolutely sucks in 2015, i see what you are trying to do but if you are determined to become better ditch it. Your stack is not short enough to apply preassure preflop, which is the main advantage of short stacking and you are not deep enough to extract value or achieve any fold equity postflop when profitable. When they wrote it on the site, the pokerstrategy guys just tried to get people to play higher and play more pots so the rake generated would be a bigger amount.

The thing with hands like this is exactly that they will be most likely to flop equity (rather than strong made hands). When this happens we want to become aggressive and attack LP's weak ranges. We can't do that with a mid- or short-stack.

With the full stack, the hand would be good enough to defend against 2x vs some opponents, but with 3bet bluffing, not flatting. As played, I think that postflop is fine.
