AT, top pair vs raise, OOP

In my opinion this is a difficult spot and either calling or folding are quite close. Personally I probably would have hung on for one more card, continuing to check call on a diamond, ten or Ace. That might be a little too weak though, and I think folding is definitely the safest play. Interested to hear other opinions.

Reasons for continuing are he could quite easily have a flush/straight draw, and I would expect AK to three bet in most cases, leaving the hands that beat you at AJ and AQ combos only (and the sets of course).

Board is drawy so his raise might be a draw. The raise size is only 2x. You have dackdoor flush&straight draw to go with your top pair. I would call here and see turn.

I'd fold. We are too much behind a hand that has us beat. Those that we do beat can force us out on turn. Pot odds are compelling, but from a GTO perspective, you also need to take into account that villain raised a siseable bet as opposed to bet himself. You will have AK and maybe AQ to call with if you want to make a stand.

We have a weak TP and I would fold. I would continue with AJ+.

This is probably fine. The flop is close between a check/call and bet. I don't mind balancing your frequencies between a call/fold OTF (vs. a raise) when you have a heart in your hand. Ie. something like AsTh would be a bet/call whereas AdTd would be a bet/fold. If you call the flop raise, you should probably have a dedicated plan for the turn (maybe c/c bricks and then c/f most all rivers?).

Another option is to check/call the flop as well, that's cool. Though, AT might be strong enough to bet (and we leave stuff like A2s for our c/c hands, along with some Jx).

a reg dont make this raise, then this player is weak or fish.
a small porcent of the time people raise CB x2 wit 2pair+ in a drawy board, recreationals raise here alot with TP weak kicker FD Air Gutshots, etc. please dont fold here, is a very easy call !

this kind of people who RCB x2 are checking alot in turn too,then worry less about bets in turn, you have backdoors too come on is NL2 people plays Air alot here.

I think that vs a regular size raise we should fold. But since villain only min-raises, I would call the flop with TP and BDFS. If the turn were a diamond, an A or T then I would call again, or else I would x/f.

Villain seems to be a fish because of his min-raise. A fish could be raising with top pair, draws and other bad hands.

Of course he could have a monster, but I think we can call at least the flop.

I would call and evaluate the turn, there are a couple of backdoors and he can be raising with FDs

If oppo has a strong hand he often bet potsize, i call flop and i revalue turn, your fold is very nitty vs miniraise imho
