Hi,

Villain is unknown. Do you think c/c on the River to induce bluff is good?

Thanks.

Hello JHTAN,

If he is unknown then how do you expect him bluff there. Plus a draw completed, therefore rather Check/Fold or I'd block-bet/fold myself.

Best regards.

Yeah, could happen time to time but still without knowing the opponent it's hard to make such a call very profitable. I'd bet like $1-1,50.

I think he will check behind if he had made hand includes Flush because the only nuts here is Jx. So, the tendency he is bluffing increase by instant shoving the River. Is that make sense? Thanks.

Yes, that makes sense. And as well if you had Jx yourself then you would ship it yourself. But the problem is that there are like only few hands which he might turn into bluff and they are some missed draws and while FD completed then not many hands left, that's the problem. And as well how do you expect him to bluff there when he is an unknown? And as you said he would Check behind flushes then her should as well Check behind his PPs. What kind of hands are left which he would Call on turn?

You are welcome but of course his play doesn't make sense either. Nice catch.
