i think there are much better ways to play this spot. the long story short is check flop. what does your bet accomplish?

you are most likely cbetting way too frequently and you should definitely review your range construction and cbetting game imo

As he raises for the 3rd time in 100 hands and even calls a 3bet it means to me he has sth strong and he'll not let it go to 1 bet (range 99+ AJs+ KJs KQs).

But I agree with your line, because the board is so dry. I don't think this Cbet is too frequent.

On the other hand check could be an option because he's passive and you have some show down value vs his lower PP's.

As played - on turn I don't think he'll fold Ax here to barrels on the micros, neither a PP; because he's a loose player, most likely a calling station.

So we all think he calls flop with 98s or 88 and then decides to bet these on the river? You have many weaker hands to bet-check-fold. at least call the river if you take this line..

I agree with the sizing, i just don't agree with the line and what it means for your range. If you cbet KK and plan to turn into a bluff you are simply cbetting way too often, but it could be ok and most likely is better than folding the river as we did here. Don't understand why you want to turn such a decent hand into a bluff. The fact that we have FE is even more reason not to bet - why do you want to make him fold? You just make him fold a weaker hand which might bluff with.

I would say that the best line there would be check/call the flop and check/fold turn and river. I don't expect him to bluff turn and river in 3bet pots frequently enough to make our call profitable.

I think this is probably best, not sure if calling turn could be ok too. I feel like we generally play KK the same as any really weak Ax hands we have here. The only difference is if we hold weak Ax then we block his value range and it probably becomes better to xc twice - especially if there is a FD or SD on the board. Easy xf river but many times ppl will just check back their busted draw and we scoop. Don't know how this plan is against better players since we won't get that SD so our strategy should probably change.

For me this looks like way ahead/way behind situation and in such spots bet on flop doesn't bring any good.
