Ugly Turn OOP

First of all, I 3bet bigger oop to about 0.20
I would also bet the turn... But be done if he raises me.
On the river I'm also not really inclined to calling especially not at thes stakes. So it would be a x/f for me

What size would you use? 1/2, 2/3, 3/4?

agreed with larger pre .20 or closer to 4x the initial raise oop and i think check folding turn is fine i dont like betting it.

betting the turn is burning money.

that said, i dont like betting the flop either.

I we don't bet he bets, then we are in "twilight zone". Betting turn is indeed burning money sometimes. So how can we win more if we are ahead and lose less if we are not?

Would he bluff more if we check or he calls more loose if we bet? If we fold 100% turn when he bets then we have to bet ourselves some frequent turn. If we call 30% turn when he bets, then checking makes more sense. Tough spot, indeed

Let's face it, turn doesn't change much here. He shouldn't have many 8x on his calling range - only 88 is a guarantee. His range is rather broad heavy, than 8x.

we lose to JJ, TT, 99, 88, 77, KQ, JT, T9, 87.

to have a clear value bet, you only have to list more combos and we are done here.

Excuse me, where did I say that Hero should bet any of the streets?

I am sorry, but I was refering to the thread title "Ugly turn OOP". In fact only small part of Villains range contains 8x, so Hero should not focus just on the "ugly turn", but the whole board is ugly - I hope that my intention is clear to everyone here now.
