I think it makes more sense to go AI in the river? I wanted to keep the pot small, but if I am not going to fold to any bet from the opponent (the pot was too big and he didn't have that many big blinds left), and if he doesn't bet is because I have him beat.
If the opponent had a bigger stack I think check calling is fine in order to keep the pot small, but given he is a middle stack I think I need to go AI in the river and just hope I have the bigger straight.
