Here you go guys.
Ur overpairs balance ur QJs,KQ and w/e air u'll have on low flops. Btw on low connected boards vs regs I prefer ch/c or if way way too aggressive then bet/3b overpairs and flush draws only.
Just watched back the seminar this afternoon as i couldn't attent yesterday. ![]()
How do your ranges change if your up against a squeeze rather than a 3bet?
I wrote it down hand chart and now trying.
I have a question., for example, JJ UTG open and MP raised. This chart says I can call.
However, other suggestion says on 50NL, 3b against UTG usually strong so fold is better.
Who this chart aim for? aggressive villain?

I Wouldn't mind folding JJ in those spots either vs rather tight regs. On Q+high boards you basicly have to auto ch/fold. And on lower boards you're easily barreled off. So it's almost setmining.
Hey,
Yes very important that you don't treat these as "charts" I will post a link tomorrow to the tables though and speak some about them too
btw opening UTG with this range gives us a 12% range UTG. I want to revamp my whole range per positions after the seminar. what sort of opening % would you recommend for MP and CO as default range (like vs unknown) I am quite ok for the moment with BU, and SB I think
Hmm, it's difficult for me 10.0 3bet villain was tight or loose.
When calling JJ against MP's 3b profitable?

+1. default opening range(MP,CO) in comparison to EP(lets say 15%)?

Don't think that people are as passive as you may be assuming at NL50. Last year I played few hundred k hands @ 50NL and there were a lot of spew even against early position raisers. Had multiple standard regs shipping in as a bluff etc ve ep raises. And I was very tight in EP 10% from UTG.
Sure once we get some info on players or get a better grasp of what would be a better default for us against the general population we can adjust our defending ranges. But I think pleno's chart looks like a pretty solid default and worth trying out and experimenting with.
IMO
I've played this year from NL50-NL200 @ zoom. At NL50 ppl are bad. They try to be aggro but don't pick spots - they're just aggro so they end up being a lagtard (like Pleno1 ♠_evil: ) or just they are too nitty. NL100 they play pretty tight and just barrel once basically. NL200 haven't figured it out yet but seems that some guys actually know what they're doing and some others just aggro you out (have balls) and don't have a check button. They do pick some spots though.
These "charts" is just a way of thinking in those spots where you had problems when someone 3bets you but they do it with some frequencies and you don't know what to do with ur TT-JJ etc. That's why we balance our ranges and protect our TT-JJ,AKs with some KK and AA. Before applying any of these you should find the proper opponents to use these.
The opening ranges though can be applied directly. I'm still struggling a bit with folding 22-44 and A2s-A5s on good tables. I show a profit with 22-44 at NL100/200 with 22-44 this year - for 200k hands. It can obviously be variance aswell. A2s-A5s are negative in ep though so mb I will cut these out. Mp are ok though.
QJo mp/ep are b/e but as it shows J9s,T8s,T9s,98s are a profit. Apparently they do have better playability so why not be played instead of A2s-A5s. Perfect reasoning. Probably if deeper then A2s-A5s would be better but I don't play deep.
Just some thoughts...

We will get to that in the upcoming weeks

Exactly, like I say in the seminar, this is a framework on how to build your game plan. In so many private coachings people have really really incorrect ranges than can never be good. I'm trying to supply recommended ranges that are a very good default, if you want to be creative or add other hands in then thats cool, let us know how it goes.
The reason why I didn't include every hand that I could show a profit with. For example, I think personally I could show a profit open 54s, is because we want to build good fundamental game plans and if we open with 26% just because "its profitable in my database" then vs good regulars as we move up (which is the ultimate goal) we will get destroyed as they will analyse you to death.

Well I did this, but always got owned by sets
unfortunately we don't have any stats for which positions is he x/raising a lot, because maybe he has 25% raise cb stat in bvb or BUvsblinds or COvsblinds, but not UTG vs CO. I like to x/calling overpairs, marignal hands and balancing with flushdraws and something like 87s on 765, maybe I should do with sets as well, and cbet with a really low freq. as 0human0 said. (of course sometimes cbet cause then our cbet range would be too weak). If villain raises cbets rarely we can forget about this.

yeah, but how? you bet/3bet on 235r ? or bet/calldown? thats not really a protection
But I think atton's question and mine a little bit different. Anyway atton: If we'd put few low sc cards to our range, it doesn't mean we can represent them, so it will not be in our percieved range, because nobody would believe you open 65s from UTG, so when we really hit it's ok (well not that ok, cause reversed implied odds is sucks, what u mentioned), however when we just want to represent them, we just can't. It's like flatting big pairs, no matter is it in your real range, most nl200 regs will not put you on slowplayed overpairs, so it isn't in your percieved range. That's why I think sometimes good to use an unbalanced range, when our percieved range is including bluffs, but our actual range doesn't. (for ex: K62r x/r w set for some kind of reason, and we'll never x/r bluff it, but doesn't matter, cause they will think, okay sometimes he will x/r with bluffs, so they put bluffs in your percieved range without you'd have one. But that is a totally different question and story, just sayin

You on such a board we have an easy calldown with QQ or something cause most people fold 22 33 55 preflop (not in CC-range). Unless the 4 pops up obv.
I think most ppl don't like folding pairs, SB may folds, but Co, BU I don't think so. You mean bet/call down, or check/call down?
