I think Bet/call flop and then x/c x/c most turns/rivers. If we fold strong overpairs there they can def. exploit us, right?

And this we be vs a strong aggro regular (not vs nits maybe :P)

Ty buddy, but there are two qoutes...:)

What about the second one?

Yeah the 2nd quote is another argument for not opening too small SC's. And I completely agree.

I think when we call OOP 3bets and balance it properly preflop - on most 256 boards we can ch/r all overpairs and some bluffs if villain cbets 100% on those. That way if we ch/r ~50% of our range and fold ~50% of air it would rly be ok. Actually I'm not sure what % we get.

it is single raised pot! we open UTG and 1 reg calls, low board comes out, for ex: 235r

in 3bet pots i agree with u
if he barells a lot I'd rather just calldown, they love to represent a very strong range when they did 3bet vs UTG

@ Playing UTg vs blinds.

I don't like so much the 0 4B/c range because people are not aggressive enough at SS to barrel enough when they miss. So I think we are missing too much value because of this. Especially if it is vs an unknown as it seems like it was what was discussed. Don't you think?

Interesting seminar!

Hey - nobody said we shouldn't 4bet/c -was this the question?
Also nobody said we can't call 4bets. I am calling depending on situations and not only with AA :) The idea is that SPR is way too low to have many bluffs but with a strong range and some bluffs it's ok/good.

In the last 5-10 mins they talked about defending vs 3B from the blinds when being UTG.
There were 2 different range constructions: one where we have a 4B/f, 4B/c and call 3B and the other one where we called 3B everything but AQo that we 4B/f.
I was saying I didnt like the latter.

Ah y. It rly depends vs which villain. If he's aggro postflop I guess calling vs 3bet is rly the best. I think that was mentioned there as well

I think the range of call 3bet in the second solution is pretty polarised, we are vs the blinds and therefore IP, and I think playing JJ+, KQs, AQs+, AKo IP could be pretty good.

For example for myself where my postflop game is not as good as most of you, it is a perfect opportunity to improve it and and find spots where the 3better makes mistakes postflop OOP.

I personally likes the idea although in too many occasion so far I have instinctively 4betted monsters.

can we guess about how much 3bet% should the villain have to use this strategy against him?

obviously if he has <2% 3bet vs UTG we just fold a lot

vs 5% seems ok, cause he has only (max 2.5% for value) and then i guess we can use this vs 5%++++ as well, but how could we calculate that?

For example we are on the button and minraise 60%, BB has 5% 3bet, we can steal 100% and fold almost everything, what is the 3bet% when we should defend ~67% and how could we get some exact numbers?

I hope you can understand my question

Hmm, I think 3betrange BB against UTG is AA,KK( I truly think so because 44+ would only call against UTG and I doubt AK would 3bet against UTG..)

However, if so, both range is weak against this range so there is no difference.( I should only fold most hand and only set mine.)

It's my box so I want to beyond this.

How about BB's 3b range?

I´d like to ask why is better to slowplay KK preflop instead of AA. You do slowplay only 1 combo of AA and 3 of KK. Why? Ok with AA we can cooler all hands but...

1. we stack KK postflop nearly everytime if we slowplay AA
2. overybody will barell on Kxx board more often and we dont block andy K with slowplaying AA
3. AK has 5outs to hit and stackoff postflop (4xK 1xA)... its the same when we are holding KK but with KK we are beat on Axx

On the other site with AA we block some Axs light 3bets... Ideas?

Hey,

Yeh either or would be fine, we were just trying to come up with the number of combinations that we were looking for. Potentially can just do 2 and 2, it doesnt really matter, it was just trying to bring in the topic of range protection.
