Thanks for the kind words!
Watched this in three courses due to time restrictions.
Just to say I primarily play 0.10/0.20 PLO at Sky Poker since the network's inception and where poker tracking software is not permitted. Reviewing hand histories and taking notes is of paramount importance.
Just wanted to say starting hand requirements for me at Sky is dependant on relative player position.
I like the way it was explained why one should be folding the nearly nuts. Only the other evening I was OOP with AAAKK (holding AA) and value bet lightly at the river only to be pot raised another £7. The board showed possible royal flush or quad kings. I actually did think I was behind but hoped I might see AKXX.
Kyberri was absolutely correct.
For a couple of sessions I've been playing 0.02/0.04 on ipoker and find it a bit of a struggle. NO ONE FOLDS PRE FLOP. After limping in the donkeys always pay at least another 22 cents to stay in. I'm having to adjust my game with 6 to the flop!
Thanks to all the tips and advice as well in 'Zero to Hero' and 'Cops and Robbers' my game has vastly improved from a TAP to a TAG in only a short space of time (in conjunction with an anonymous book :f_smile:).
Thanks again for providing beneficial material :f_drink::f_drink:
Next one is 29th of November, Tuesday, at 20:30 CET. There is a thread for voting and proposing the topics: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=395519
Remember, if you have any hand histories related to 3betting and/or Aces (or donking too) feel free to post them to this thread and I will go through them in the coaching today!
Thanks Kyyberi, missed couple of first minutes but got there in time for the first cource
Couldn't remember my Twitch acco though, I guess I would've needed to be logged in for the chat
I also missed the start but it was really cool, I learnt a lot about the mentality behind 3bet and 4bet pots and how to design sound ranges in those, so thank you ! ♠_drink:
Don`t know, if this is the right place to request topics for PLO Buffet, but on the next PLO Buffet I`d like to see:
1) Playing double paired hands (low pairs and high pairs) in (both) raised and 3bet pot.
2) Calling a raise or 3betting with hands like JJ9Qss; TTJ9; TT98 (guess they are called premium pair hands, correct me, if I`m wrong) especially in CO and BTN
Thanks in advance and best regards,
RNulle
Next Buffet is at 24th of this month! There is a voting thread for the menu, go and cast your votes!
