Hi,

i resteal preflop because i expect villain to open quite loose and i have a blocker.
Should i bet the river? i had 17$ left, so i guess i would have to shove. Given his play, a pocket pair is quite likely and i didn't expect him call a river bet.

Hello HughJazz82,

And you don't expect him to have any Jx hands in his range? I don't really like betting the river cause clearly not that many worse hands call you in a 3bet pot. He meanwhile has a lot of Jx holdings which float the flop.

Well, as u see, i didn't bet the river
I don't see "a lot" of Jx hands in his range in a 3bet pot (AJs, QJs, JTs, JJ what else?), more likely he is on QQ, TT, 99 which i didn't expect to call.
