Coaching: Fixed-Limit [Advanced] with datsmahname

Hey Dats,

do you remember that KQo hand from yesterdays coaching ? The one you raised preflop vs 2 limpers from the SB I guess and and you were 4 ways on the flop and you cbet the flop and I said thats a mistake. Could you find and post that hand for me please ?

the chatbox was quite shitty today. I mentioned the problem in it as well but no one listened. I had to restart it in every 3-4 minute cause it stopped working, afer that the lines did not appear at my side and I also what I wrote did not appear at your side. IDK what could have caused this , I have never had such a problem and I hope the next time it wont happen, but just in case it would be better to prepare for it ( for ex. it would be good to know where to get help from in case this happens again).

This is strange indeed. If i understand correctly, your saying that the PokerStrategy coaching player / chat was not processing messages that you sent. If thats the case, this is entirely new to me. Sometimes people have audio problems, but posting problems seem new.

We did have quite a lot of chat last week, and so I'm inclined to think things are working on our end. You have me interested now though, so what do you think about doing a test next week? We can set something up to test it in case you are still unable to post.

If this happens again then the very best thing to do is to post in the forums. Sure, I'm happy to relay info BUT the Beginners questions and Feedback and Suggestions forums are regularly trafficked by admins. They'll be in the best position to provide technical support and/or relay information to resolve bugs.

Yep, we covered this one last week and Boomer & I seem to agree.

Jamming the flop is hard to justify. When one player is comfortable putting in a lot of action and another is happy to continue it really means our outs need to be discounted quite a bit and our flop cap is no longer for value.

We are in position and may be able to use it as a free card play but when the BB 3-bets and the CO calls, the BB can also extract max value by leading the turn with all of his really strong hands. He might check top pair or a strong draw, and some players will always check but I regularly see players lead their strongest hands. A freecard play isn't likely to work here against the hands we'd require a free card, and if they do check we may end up giving free cards by checking back.

When we do call the 3-bet, sometimes the CO will abuse our call and raise a lot of turns. This would be a strong move because our flop raise/call won't usually be a slowplay on such a drawy board and he could force us off the best hand. His preflop cap takes a lot of speculative hands out of his range. I guess he could raise a lot of turns with AJs hoping to push us off better 1 pair hands, but not on this turn card. Either way, this doesn't come up much.

So basically on the river, given the BBs line hes very likely to be on something like TPGK (AQ), 2 pair (JT, QJ, QT, J9s), flopped bottom set (but potentially any set), or a busted FD and maybe a combo draw. We're ahead of the BBs range.

I think we're ahead of the CO too. He could have AA, AQ and it would be very cautious of him to play KQ or KK this way. Sometimes we see QQ and JJ, and if our opponents WTSD is not very high or they can get away from some strong hands then its harder to value bet. Here I would go ahead and extract some value from the BB's 2 pair and top pair type hands and expect to see the CO with a tough decision. Interesting to note the COs range is probably a lot more narrow (JJ+, 99, AQ). Edit: we should also discount sets pretty heavily because of he didnt cap the flop. KK is also good to discount. AQ or AA is most likely.

about the sound issue, I wrote that into the chat, but You probably missed it. It's twitch.tv/equilab colission and it happened before on another coachings as well. Everytime they ran simulation in equilab, mic was off, solution was to mute/unmute. Then everything worked fine till another simulation.

why do i keep forgetting when the coaching is

money wise would be best to see what kind of stakes you play. i have a similar graph just at 5/10c.

What's the HUD you are using atm ? Is it downloadable, you aren't using custom popups ? You can maybe use a stat bet river after turn bet
