Hello to everyone who clicked to see the thread!

My name is Mareks and I'm from Latvia. Currently I live in Riga.
I joined the community few years ago, but wasn't active at all. And after FTP closed down,I left poker aside. It all changed this year,on January, when I spent my vacation time ill in bed, instead of visiting friends in Germany. I opened up FTP and started to play. I was feeling more determined, eager to learn and improve. And have been playing since. I play mostly Zoom on PS or Speed poker on Titanpoker. Currently at NL5 SH. Haven't deposited any money, have been playing with PokerStrategy bankroll. Since I work full time, time I can leave to poker isn't what I would want it to be. And at the moment I'm also taking private lessons for CAE exam. So quite a lot of time goes there too.
More than a week ago had a fantastic session review with luizsilveira. He pointed out quite a lot of leaks and improvements. And I instantly started working on correcting them. Thanks again mate.

Thought about what should I do next to somehow organize and track my progress in poker, and decided it was time to create a blog.
Since tomorrow is June, I will set some goals and tasks I definitely want to achieve:

 Finish reading"The Art of Poker - Part 1 Basic"
 Watch videos -

At the end some statistics. Looking forward for advice, tips, criticisms or just friendly chatter.

Hey MareksVas

welcome to our blogging section. It's awesome that you decided to write a blog and the planning side of things looks pretty solid on your part. The material that you plan on studying looks very good imo.

All the best,
Luke

Time for update.
Due to work, english exam (waiting for results, fingers crossed) and holidays in-between had little time for poker, but managed to watch some coachings and play couple of sessions. Unfortunately gonna lose my gold and drop down to silver next month, but that's not the end of the world.
Switched rooms for NL5 SH from Titan to 770 due to great promo that's running atm. Also that way gonna get more SP per dollar rake. Player pool stays same, so that's just ideal. Gonna play some MTTs on last day of june (770 depositor freeroll ,some micro mtts and so on).

SB checks, CO checks, Hero bets 17 BB, SB calls 17 BB, CO raises to 79.4 BB and is all-in, Hero ?

The question is can I call him there? I'm getting 2.27:1 pot odds to call.So i need 31% equity to justify call. I put him on either a set, nut flush draw, or overpair with flush draw (JJ,QQ with J or Q of diamonds)

Villain seems to be a nit. How should I adjust pre flop and post flop when he opens from UTG?
