Not the best flop for me, but I have a low cbet percentage, and a tight UTG range, so I thought having the A:d I can barrel here repping strong hands.

I'm not sure about the turn barrel. Gives me some equity with the gutshot, on the other hand hits his range quite well. Ch/fold would have been better?

River?

i'd give up on the flop even with the A diamonds. it's pretty hard to play on boards like that as you wont know what cards are good for you in general

turn i'd give up too.

I'd check/raise the flop.

As played, I think I like a check/raise on the turn too.

On the river, check/fold is best imo.

Hey duder1n0,

Cbet is ok imo, but not going to be hugely profitable on this texture. K + A outs may both be tainted. Check/folding fine.

Turn barrel is borderline. Check/folding likely fine again. I guess we want to see a diamond on the turn.

Thanks. And what about river as played? Do you see value in betting? I thought it's a good barrelcard for me, so he should defend with hands like KJs/QJs sometimes, but on the other hand I'm beat by JTs/KQ/ATs/JJ f.e. If bet/fold, is this sizing OK?

I think river is too thin.

We can certainly get called by worse some of the time, but in order for profitable value-bet we need opponent to call with worse over 50% of the time. I don't see it happening here.

I think this may be partly what jmackenzie is getting at. Even if we do hit an Ace or King there is really no guarantee they are clean on this particular texture.
