Hi,

He would most likely call shove his pair+flushdraws as QxKs or QTs and you´re protecting against random spade.
I´m not sure if better hands would fold so to make better decisions postflop call should also be fine to then evaluate on the turn. If it is spade or some ugly card you can get away cheaply, if it is blank you get all-in being bigger favorite than 55%
