Haha! Probably a good idea to keep it secret!

I play reg tables, I've played just short of 10k hands and +14BI. I was higher but have hit a bit of a slump yesterday and today, to be expected I suppose.

That's a nice winrate, how comes you play regular tables, do you think they're softer than zoom? Or just prefer more time to think the hands out?

Thought of opening a Blog to keep track of your progress?

I probably haven't played enough zoom to get a feel for how strong or weak the pool is compared to regular, I suppose I just prefer having the same players at the table with me for a while so I can get an idea of who I'm up against and take advantage if they're more of a fish than I am, or get out if I'm the fish! What is it about zoom you prefer?

I've been looking to get into blogging. I've read some of the blogs on the site of people tracking their process and they're very interesting. The only problem is, there is alot of things I don't understand about stats and terms people use, so if I was to do a blog, it would probably be very basic and not very interesting, and if anyone was to ask me any questions about it, I would probably struggle to answer. Do you have a blog?

I prefer Zoom only because I can get a huge volume in a shorter time, I do still enjoy regular tables though, I may load up a few in my next session and see how I roll. Hopefully variance will be kinder to me there.

You can learn about players in Zoom too, do you use a HUD at all?

It doesn't matter that you don't know terms or stats, mention this in your original post and people will understand and maybe even try to help you. Talking with other poker players is one of the best ways to improve your game and a blog will do this for sure.

I don't have a blog at the moment, I've had a few but I end up stopping with updates, I should probably start another one sometime though, perhaps in the new year.

Yea I use a HUD (probably not as well as I could be using it), I suppose I prefer regular tables so I can choose what table to sit at based on stats in the HUD, rather than constantly being put at random tables on zoom, although I'm sure there's probably advantages that zoom tables have over regular tables aswell (like volume as you mentioned).

You're probably right about starting a blog, only good things can come from it. I probably won't get one started before the new year now, but I suppose that will give me some time to think about what I want to achieve and a rough plan of how to achieve it.

I will probably start palying Regular tables myself as I want to slow my game down and think a lot more, create new habits that I can bring with me when I will return to Zoom.

Have you had much time to think about starting your blog? ;)

Yea, I think I'll get 1 up and running later this week. I'm still figuring out what realistic targets I can set myself and the things I can do on a day to day basis to achieve them. Have you thought any more about starting another blog?

I will be starting a sorta blog () I'm off to Vegas this month so will start something for that, then once I'm back i'll start a proper one where I plan to keep track of my Goals etc.

Once I'm back I then begin to create a Poker Monster :P

Setting strict volume goals isn't always best, lately I've been looking into creating new habits, rather than win x, play x hands, watch x vids. Habits are what define us so with this I plan to create healthy habits that will help with general life and poker.
