Hi,

We are ITM at 50 left and I'm often exposed to this kind of play at this stage.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1,000(BB) Replayer
SB ($39,412)
BB ($20,456)
Hero ($40,664)
UTG+1 ($38,948)
UTG+2 ($34,941)
MP1 ($108,449)
MP2 ($49,173)
CO ($39,502)
BTN ($29,172)

Dealt to Hero J♣ K♠

Hero raises to $2,200, fold, fold, fold, MP2 calls $2,200, fold, fold, fold, fold

FLOP ($7,025) A♣ 7♣ 9♣

Hero bets $2,450, MP2 calls $2,450

TURN ($11,925) A♣ 7♣ 9♣ 9♥

Hero bets $4,155, MP2 raises to $14,000, Hero folds

MP2 wins $20,235

I feel like there is a huge range of bluff here from the chip leader against me.
Would you manage it differently ?

Hi,

Likely I would check all of my range, so checking also with KJ should be fine. he is not going to fold pair+flsudraws and our equity with J high flushdraw is not the best. So unless you go 3-barrel bluff you can also either give up turn or c/c if he gives you good enough pot odds.

best regards,

Hi all,

I like your flop line. On the turn, however, I'd probably check and likely give up. I don't expect too many floats on the flop that do not continue on this turn card.
