Villain is a 16/14/3.2 in 307 hands
wwsf 52 wtsd 38
OR btn 54
cbet flop 77
cbet turn 100
cbet river 50

I didn't realize the high wtsd. I wouldn't played like this.
With that OR and high cbets, I cold called with the intention of raising most flops or turns.
With that flop, i just called and waited the turn card to make that move.
Now... did he call down because a I am not representing anything, or because he is very calling?
With a lower WTSD and the very same stats...is this line profitable?

As always....sorry for my english!
Thank you!!

Hi WilliamBoo

Preflop: given that we are in the SB and this is a weak offsuite Ax this can just be a fold preflop.

Postflop: WTSD sample should be larger before we take a look at it. 300 hands is not nearly enough imo.

Bluffing with 0 equity in a spot where you don't represent a lot is also a problem. You have very few value hands in your range.

Preflop i need to win 35% to be a BE call.
With A8o i'm slightly ahead of his range.
Altough i won't have a good kicker if a hit my A, he will be value betting himself a lot since he has that high cbet frequency, plus i can bluff lots of boards (not this one tough haha). He has a wide range and cannot support lots of pressure.

What do you think? I really appreciate your input!

You have to play 3 streets often OOP with a weak hand. Your preflop equity is obviously a factor but how you play postflop is the most important variable.
And that's of course us not even mentioning that BB is a 40 BB player. Imagine how often you'll get squeezed or even have to play a multiway pot.

All in all having such a wide range in the SB will be a sure way to lose money.
