Flop: xe bets way too small so I raise to get initiative back and some value.
River: Did I have a value bet? Given the flop small donk I wasn't giving xem any Ax and was thinking of minor hands like Jx, draws maybe, 8x would have folded to raise I think.

I like the flop raise.
I would bet/fold bigger OTT like 2$.
I don't think that we have a value bet OTR given the actions. I think he is either really strong or folding his weak Ax hands on such board.

Hi AtrociousNightmare ,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Another example of a spot where you are losing a ton of value... from the smaller turn bet to the river nitty check back.

Bet bigger on the turn, bet river (despite the results where he spiked 2p).

What am I hoping to get value from?

Ax?

If he shows up with A4 here does he not have every other Ax in his range?

Like A5 or A3 or A9

but will he call those TPNK hands to 3rd barell? if not then we dont have valbet, or we can only kind of do smallbet/fold and hope he dont want to overfold , so something like 1/5 or 1/4 but then again if that will induce him to raise with it we have to fold anyway... but i guess they wont be turning their showdown hands into bluff often

Would that call a standard size 3barrel? Doesn't feel like it.
Or maybe normal size turn into smaller river bet?

As you played I can't see any Ax folding another 1/2-2/3 river bet, ever.

If you bet bigger don't bomb river to put unwanted pressure on these weaker hands.
