50nl KJo squeeze pot

I just think KJo is one of the worst cards to squeeze, easy fold preflop.

Flop cbet is too small, especially OOP and with flush draw on the flop, it's just so tempting to reraise or float it (and most of the pocket pairs would call it).
Also think about the remaining stacks, when you make flop cbets - now you have left with this awkward 36.34 into the 29.32 pot.
If you made something like 9.56 on the flop, you could shove turn with 33.94 into the 34.12 pot - perfect.

And why check the turn? If you're representing an Ax, you should continue turn as you would normally do, to protect yourself from all the draws out there. And that strange shove on the river looks so polarizing, Ax wouldn't do that - you are only representing Tx. Even with AA or some other set you would continue turn for protection. And worst part is, that opponent can easily have Tx himself, since he called the flop.

Probably he had some pocket pair like 88 or 99. I don't think any regular (who is thinking about ranges) would fold JJ, QQ or KK here. Well, you got away this time, but I don't think long term this play is +EV.

@webhunky I think squeeze with KJo is reasonable, it's nice to have the blockers etc, that should be #1 criteria for squeezing rather than playability postflop OOP. What are you reasons for KJo being the worst squeezing hand here? Which hands do you prefer. Thanks for your comments.

I don't think this is mandatory flop cbet, fine to x/f imo. Assuming we do cbet, seems a pretty reasonable turn to jam.

River is marginal, we represent very narrow. Really depends on villain whether this will be +EV or not.

I don't know, I should probably reconsider my KJo playstyle, since you said it's ok to play it aggressively in both topics.
For me, it just seems too weak OOP.

I don't have too many hands in my squeezing range in SB position, can't find a lot of spots to do that in NL25 NL50 limits - regulars seem to fight it more than they should, so I stick to value hands and it pays off.

Agree KJo is too weak to sqz you have so many better hands to sqz from SB. I vould rather sqz 53s than KJ imo blockers are overrated in this situation.
