Is there gonna be more material Asaban?
I feel that you had a good start so why not make some more msterial.

Currently there are no plans for an advanced coaching series. There might be some advanced content from me in the future, but I can't confirm anything at this point.
There is also a possibility for a rerun of the beginner coaching with a few adjustments that I recently made. Once again I can't tell for sure though.
In general it is not really up to me but mostly up to pokerstrategy. Feel free to post your request in the feedback forums.

Asaban
The course is currently running and the third lesson will air the upcoming thursday.
In the first lesson there were no substantial or important changes.
In the second lesson there were changes to the way blue hands are treated in the open raising chart.
Basics:
- Open Raise first in or against one call
- Fold if two or more players already called or if there is an open raise
- no exceptions
I expect some minor changes for the other lessons. I mainly focus on implementing feedback from the first runs and try to make it even more viable for low and micro stakes.
There was also a change in the course structure. Lesson 5 is live play now.

Asaban
Is there a possibility to fix the chards and guidelines in this english version now at the same time. Even tough we dont get the videos yet.
There might be a rerun for the english community right after the german course finishes. If this happens, I won't update the current version until then, so I can take the feedback on the changes into account and maybe adjust even further.
I am not yet sure if the rerun will be possible within a reasonable timeframe. If not I will implement the changes earlier.

Asaban

red/orange hands can still be pushed even if there is an open raise and a maximum of one call. If there are more then two players involved in the hand, or if there was more then one raise we only push QQ+, AK.
Attention: Players that limped do not influence our decision in any shape or form.
hi, I'm french and I have not been able to translate this part, so I do not understand it. is could someone translate or reword the text so I can understand it.
thank you
red/orange hands: You can go All-In, even if there is an open raise and up to one call. If there was a 3bet, or there are more than two players in the hand, you can only push QQ+ AK.
If there was a limp as only other previous action you can ignore the limp.
Limp: Entering the hand by calling the big blind instead of open raising.
Let me know if the re-wording helped

Missed this one completely ![]()
I would shove pre-flop for 13,8bb effective with 1 limper in the hand with KK.
As played I would check the flop as well. The turn is I think a bet, but I would bet a lot smaller. Otherwise your committed. I would bet approximately 1,5k and her-evaluate the river.

Hi Asaban,
First off thanks for a very insightful training course. I recently got back into poker after being absent from the scene for many years. Sadly online "gambling" was outlawed in my country a few years back and due to misinformation many of us gave on playing poker online. The local casino bosses are the main driving force behind this stupidity but attitudes have changed and while the situation remains pretty much unchanged online poker is once again "safe" as long as we adhere to certain rules like only playing against other players and not against the house. Which is easy to do when playing poker of course.
Anyway, just wanted to say I received a $10 (8 Euros) free bankroll from PokerStrategy for signing on to NetBet. I managed to turn it into 80 Euros playing 0.50 and 1 Euro MTT's within 3 days. I am certainly not the best player so I came here to brush up on some skills and I'm glad I did.
So after reading your training course I was wondering if I should lower my BI to only 0.50 Euro for now or is it okay to do 1 Euro as well like I've been doing? I feel comfortable doing both but your 150BI suggestion made me think perhaps I need to slow down a bit.
Hey HennieP ![]()
Personally I think that 150 buyins is the absolute minimum that you should have when playing mtt's.
If you played on Pokerstars instead of Netbet I would even suggest substantially more.
As it stands 150 buyins should be fine for the micro to low stakes.
Best of luck for your comeback!

Asaban
I tried your strategy at 2$ GTD first time, got up to level 14 250/500 60ante,so mid level i guess and was short on bb's under 12-13 range,i went all in with 75s but forgot the extra rule you put at the end if there are 2 involved in hand to go only with QQ+ and AK (and if i had qq or ak i would have won the hand ) ![]()
Was really fun,all i did was watch your charts and alt tab
Hi Asaban,
Your MTT coaching has helped me a lot. Can't wait for week 6. ![]()
