SB: $29.47 (147.4 bb)
Hero (BB): $20 (100 bb)
UTG: $10.25 (51.3 bb)
MP: $19.92 (99.6 bb)
CO: $20 (100 bb)
BTN: $39.06 (195.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 T
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.40, SB folds, Hero calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.90) J 6 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.72, Hero calls $0.72

Turn: ($2.34) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.17, BTN calls $1.17

River: ($4.68) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.27, BTN folds

Results:

Spoiler

$4.68 pot ($0.23 rake)
Final Board: J 6 8 5 2
Hero mucked 9 T and won $4.45 ($2.16 net)
BTN mucked and lost (-$2.29 net)

Villain is reg, steals 69 from BU. Calls 50 % to 3bet. 400 hands. Not aggressive postflop. His WTSD is kind of low - 22. On the turn I think he would pot control with TP and OP and it would be difficult to take the hand with a river bet if my draw miss.

Why not c/r flop if you're taking that line? c/r then donkbet turn & river is uber strong line. Yours looks like you want to keep drawing for a lower price really - if it was me I would have 3bet your donkbet with any hand

Edit: by lower price I mean that you're betting 50% OTT, which to me is a strange. Say you have a superstrong hand - you would either minbet to induce a RR or bet big OTT to make him pay if he's drawing - your bet is neither and that is why it's not believable to me

I'm not x/r flop because the board is not so drawy. On the turn I would donk also with sets. This is not something I do very often. Only vs. passive regs. I bet half pot because I want to give good price for my draw and I'm planning river bet on many cards.

What will be a drawy board? I do not like the donk bet.

2 tone or J78? Nitrol, would you x/r flop or turn or x/c turn?

x/c flop, x/c turn.

I like the reasoning behind the line, only think that it would be better to bet turn stronger if your planning to bet river strong- I agree that this does not look believable.
