Hi, how do you play on the river? We are 150bb deep and we have 100bb in the middle and 100bb behind.

We are deep. I prefer checking.

Yeah, the (strangely played) FD hit, and 98 hit as well.

Check/folding is probably too weak, it looks like we might occasionally fold to a set or 2P here. Bet/calling is a little crazy, I don't think anything worse would raise us here.

So it's either check/calling or bet/folding. I think bet/folding is clearly superior, as it extracts value from his 2P and sets.

I would x/c river, don´t see any value in beting. I don´t want to care to much about balance but if we fold here we probably overfolding really a lot since we have plenty of sets and 2P which we can fold.

This question is for you who want to b/f river. What sizing do you b/f here when we have a pot left?

With one pot-sized bet left I would never bet/fold. I would jam. If his calling range is as follows - JJ-TT,77,55,98s,AhKh,AhQh,KhQh,AhJh - you're a 67% favourite.

TT,77,55 are pushing turn at least.

Thanks for everyone's input. Really appreciate that people take time to help each other. In the game I chose the worst possible line of play on the river. I bet the river like 50bb and tilt-snapcall. I guess my mental game issues are not completely fixed :f_drink:

River: (100.8 BB, 2 players) J♥
Hero bets 46.2 BB, BTN raises to 135.2 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 59.8 BB and is all-in

BTN shows 5♥ 6♥ (Flush, Jack High)
(Pre 35%, Flop 59%, Turn 23%)
Hero shows 8♣ 6♣ (Straight, Eight High)
(Pre 65%, Flop 41%, Turn 77%)
BTN wins 299.8 BB

With your bet size you committed yourself to the pot.

I would fold preflop, at the first place. :) As played, I would check/call the river, but not really sure what is the best. The problem is that there are not that many worse hands betting, except busted diamond flushdraws.
