Hello,

family pot and suited low flop = trouble.
I played this flop passively.

I'm bound to be against set or good draws here and wanted to see the action behind me first.

I think If i bet and get raised I can't call. When seeing this bet I was thinking that I can't get to a showdown without being AI. I have overpair and 2nd nutflush but I had the feeling this wasn't going to be enough.

Well, mw you can bet on flop. There are 1club hands, over pairs that can call.

I am not optimistic about the prospects here. It looks like we are going to win a very small pot or lose a big one. Either good position or holding A♣:A♠: instead would make hell of a difference. Very good players (that would exclude me here) should bet flop and see what happens. Not very good ones should play as you did (and I would have). This is a trap hand.

I'm not a good player but I would bet flop here :) As played I think it is ok to fold. There is still a lot of better hands and we are not drawing to the nuts.

I would have also bet the flop. The fold after Villain bets is good. He bets really big and seems to be a tight guy. The hand smells like a set.

Yes, a bet OTF is fine. However, turn card brings you no further streets of value and we do not hold that much equity nor fold equity so it would be a fold for me.

Yes, it is. But in this hand there is no re-raise...

Did you misread the hand or do you suggest we should re-raise and rep the nuts?
