Hi,
my question is simple, does it worth to call his 3-bet pre-flop? Villains stats 40/6, 3 bet - 11,4.

For sure? I called, because I think he would call me only with marginal pairs and my hand is better played post flop. His stats: 27/21. Do you insist on 4b?

AK/AQ is hard to play OOP without initiative if you do not hit...

Mozzek i see you are unexpirienced player. It's called marginal hand not marginal pair. And pairs has more equity than your hand preflop.
Your hand is good for postflop play but when it's suited and when pot is multiway because it's drawing type hand.
In your case you should 4bet and play for stacks. Dont complicate your game because you will need a flop to continue and you will miss it most of the time

Call / reise by 40/6 is almost never a bluff. I would just happily fold. If you have any specific observations he could do this with weaker hands than AK i might push but would not preffer that line . Call is def the worst option because you can get easily pushed out of the hand on any board you don't hit.

Cheers

Ok, thanks guys for responses, I really appreciate them. I´m unexperienced indeed, I´ve played around 20k, so I´m complete beginner. Yeah, with that marginal I was out of the meaning of what I wanted to say, I just googled it. Forget it please, as I don´t wanna look like an idiot

Open limp and 3bet usually means a strong pocket pair (mostly KK+), at least from my experience, so I think we can even fold AKo. For me it's folding > shoving > calling.

I do not like calling off AKo preflop OOP against someone from late position. Especially when villain is active
