Calling down with TPTK

Ye over pair and a couple of 8x can be in his range and sets and 2 pair, the common line is to call 2 streets and fold the river with most tp hands i think. This is quite an easy fold preflop though imo. I wouldn't be calling it from any position vs UTG tbh.

Too loose call pre flop vs UTG opener.

As played villain has overpairs, sets, 2 pair and some draws. You have 2 outer. Even if you would hit an ace, you might be behind. So you could fold this already OTF as played too. Theoretically you have to call 33% of your range so your villain doesn't make autoprofit. I don't know what your calling range pre is but lets estimate you would have to call flop with around 25 combos. 66-77,76s,87s,98s makes a lot better defending range than weak offsuit Ax.

You hit OTT but you are not doing so well against UTGs double barrel and I think you could still fold. OTR is a clear fold too.

Also don't think you should call the flop cbet - Villain has much stronger range, you don't need to defend to stop him auto profiting here I think (?)

Fold pre-flop as people have already mention it. And the reason why you fold here is because you don't want to find yourself in situations like you did.

I agree about preflop. Actually, I think AT is about the very worst hand to call UTG with. I'd much rather do it with 75o. Not kidding here.

Once you call pre, then if you call the flop bet, it is not really to hit your hand, it is to possibly bluff if he checks turn. I can't really blame you for calling turn once you call flop hit, but river is a fold.
