I'm in late position with pocket Kings, SnG 5$ buy in. My stack is around 3k, blinds 60 / 30. Guy in mid position, stack about 2k raises to 180. I reraise to 540, he calls. Everyone else folds. Flop is 4-3-4 - he goes all-in.
I called but it didn't feel right as I was about sure he hit a random trip. He ended up with J7o but I'm still not convinced it was a good call. Any thoughts?
The only mistake you made is that you didn’t post it to the hand discussion forum. That’s why I have moved it to there. I don’t think someone will over shove to often with trips in a 3bet pot 33 or 4x would fold on the 3bet and I expect he has often an over pair that we beat I think.
This time he makes a complete spew, but that’s always nice.
