How can i Believe the Pokerstars is not Rigged after this hand?

yes it is 100% rigged

It is impossible to say a room is rigged from just one hand.
Preflop, you will loose this hand ~12% of the times. This just happened to be one of those times.

If you have a large number of hands that differs a lot from these 12%, you can start to call it rigged.
So start collecting.

I also do not see what they could benefit from rigging this way?

Vs what range?
Depending on villains calling range I would say hero loses this 17%-25% of the times.
That being said, this is nothing I haven't seen a thousand times before. Villain hitting a flush by the river with suited hand happens quite often. That is just poker.

Well i agree that you can not judge by one hand but the reason that makes suspicious is that The villain has the same stack size as me and by any logic he should have folded but he called , he called with the knowledge that if he had folded he would have made the money 100% of the time and if he loses he would be left with 2 or 3 antes , it just does not make sense it's like he called as he knew he would have won.

No need for a range when you know the cards.
But you are absolutely correct. For the purpose of investigating if rigged or not, you will need to put villains on a range.

Maybe not following your logic. Maybe he is does not have this knowledge. Maybe he is just a gambler and have been pushing his way through the tournament.
We can not know and only make assumptions about our opponents.

I don't know if it is a good strategy to play just to get the min cash... You both had a short stack and when you are BTN you will shove with wide range. He had a hand that is good enough to call your shove and he definitely needs the double up, otherwise his tournament life is over soon.

I'm not a tournament player but I would say it is not a very good idea to let the bubble affect your decisions too much. So now you are saying Stars is rigged because villain didn't play badly and he happened to win (which will happen 1 in 4 times, so not that rarely).

And would be funny if it really is rigged and all thoes years they scammed as. Why should they do it? I have no idea. You have a duck that lays golden eggs and you just cook him for diner.

I am on a 25 buy-in downswing on Pokerstars - at 2NL.:f_ugly: I know it is variance and all poker sites make money from the rake regardless of the shuffle of the deck. But I got so fed up with the coolers and set ups that I have stopped playing altogether on the site. Never got it in so many times with the best hand but constantly lose to a bad beat. Meanwhile, playing on the MPN network, I am running great. Why do I get one bad beat after another on 'Stars and not on MNP? What mystical force is at work? I know it's variance - at least I hope it is.

I agree with you on the rigging, especially when your up against the bigger stack. But I also believe its the same on the cash tables. Im an 888 member 6 years, in the past 3 years Iv played very little there, too many donks, bots, and idiot players, who if were in a real game would get a hiding for the hands they play.
I like you had ( top hand), and professional players iv showed it to also say yep, you were had. I had in hand AA, next 3 cards were 6,6,A, so naturally when he raised my check to $80, I reraised him to $160, he goes allin, I call, the pot stands at $520. He shows (88) turn 8, river 8, Now you tell me thats not rigged.

For all of you who thinks that any poker site is rigged, just think about twice when saying it loud next time. Whats the point for them to rigging, in order to get caught and loose their whole reputation?
If you call a site rigged just because you loose with KK or AA, then i can tell you, that it will happen eventually and not only once. Its poker guys, nothing you can do about bad beats but accepting em.
Avoid putting your whole stack on varriance based outcome. Its never a guaranteed win, when you shove on flop with AA. Some one might have two pairs or set of OESD or flush draw and completing it by river. Thats what happens. And it happens to all of us.
Conclusion: none of well known pokersites are rigged. It just doesnt make any sense. Improve yourself and your gameplay other than whining about rigged sites and bad luck. Analyse your hands and maybe you find some leaks, you could have avoided and there fore minimizing your losses.

If you think about how casion-sites try to get you hooked they want you to believe that you can win.

The idea that poker-sites rigs their game in favor for a few players and give the majority of players the feeling that they have no chance whatsoever to win sounds a bit un-clever to me.

When i say Rigged i do not mean for some special person , i mean i do not think the cards are being dealt RANDOMLY in Tournments , and what they gain by it ? they bust players so they register in a new tournment , Maybe i'm wrong but i'm seeing the same pattern over and over again , When i look at my states in Poker tracker it somehow confirms what i think , I really hope that i'm wrong but sometimes it just does not make any sense and most of these hands happen in Tournaments.Anyway Thanks everyone for all the Comments and hope your AA and KK hold against bots and donks and ...... :-)

Your last comment just made no sense at all. I understand people complain about cash games because of rake sites take, but wheres the point of rigging a tournament????

I have seen crazier beats then this with a set over set in my favor and he hits quads, but this is part of variance and that’s why you need at least 300 buy-inns for tournaments on Pokerstars with those huge player fields.

It's just psychology... It's just so much harder to experience the "bad" than the "good" , I mean if you win a pot, or a flip... lot of the times especially if you are grinding, you feel nothing, or even you describe your situation as you "deserved" this flip or 30-70, 60-40 whatever. So when you start to lose constantly it feels a lot more worse, you start to lose flips, a 20-80, a 60-40, postflop coolers etc. what is the evidence? easy:
- How many times you tell bad beat/cooler stories like this, and how many times you tell the stories when YOU CAUSED a cooler and or bad beat... probably far-far away a russian guy on a forum, tells a story about YOU, and says this site is rigged.

Anyhow, it's just % and numbers, once I lost flopped quads vs. backdoor straight flushdraw (I remember this, because this one was just ridiculous, and I started to laugh)
Or another example a kind of positive one, unfortunately I don't have all the databases in HM2, I guess I played like... 600k hand, and I already had 4 royal flush

Mathematically ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN... like literally... you lose 200 flips in a row? YES. it's possible, your next 20 AA will be crushed? YES. it's possible, anything is possible there is just one thing, what is the chance? you even have a chance to get 25x multiplier in spins 100 times in a row... it's just... really really low
