He’s making it 2BB on the flop and looks indeed weak, but problem with donkeys that I don’t really want to take a variance line when we have an edge in the game. Also, we need a lot of fold equity to make a shove profitable and I expect you don’t have that in most cases and that’s why I would make a nitty fold most of the time or call 1 street on the flop.

I really don't get the shove... Defo not needed imo. You will defo not fold out 9x and maybe not even 6x. Villain isn't good enough to know what we are repping with our shove. So against fish we just want to make less errors than they do themselves.

Pre is fine, fold flop and move on to a more profitable situation.

I have recently read through the strategy articles about postflop play here on pokerstrategy and there they clearly recommend to raise mindonks by fish in a heads up pot because they usually indicate weakness. I really didn't put him on a nine here...

I think we have to put into consideration his stats that he never raises preflop, so any bets that are made against the preflop aggressor on the flop should be taken cautiously. Even if he is doing this with a trash hand, we can definitely fold and outplay this opponent on much better hands we are dealt later on. These players are easy to value bet against and we dont want to bash heads with these calling stations and try to out think them, they are short term players who come and go and try to make every session a winning one eventually losing on the long term.
