I think you had to raise on preflop, that was the biggest mistake you didnt, because SB can now open wider and BB can play every 2 cards he has.

I would agree for checking back turn for pot control. And I think it was not really mistake to call river as you got to call 16BB to win 63BB and you got two pair.

I'd prob just fold pre flop, but if playing it raise 2.75BB.
Flop I'd just have called and played in position.
Turn check behind, however you mentioned you raised to find out where you where, when reraised should you not have folded then?
River call with 2 pair, its 16 BB.

We are playing on the BTN and I would never limp first in. I think Q8o you can just min raise and if the SB shoves or BB 3bets you can easy fold. This is just a steal hand I think.

As played I would just give up the turn. I don’t expect the BB will call the flop and check/raise the turn with a random 8 and he can easy have trips or better here.

regarding on his SB RFI you can 3bet this hand preflop. If not, you can also call on such board but if 3bet then size a little bigger (at least i would do that).
As played x back turn and call river.

We can’t 3bet on the BTN when we are first in pre-flop

you got some examples where u limp?
or which typs of hands?
do you never consider bu limp?
i know its non standard but it doesnt mean it got no merits....
like if i standard open and bb calls. (pot 5 bb)
i cbet flop he calls (10bb pot)
i cbet turn( 5bb) he reraise to 13 bb i call (36 bb)
he continue 16 bb i call so i would have lost estimated 25 bb and i would call. so i would probably loss less if i raised pre....
if i had a good day i would fold river i belive at least.....(cant have every day same level of focus)
