Dear all,

I was wondering if you could help me with the following hand? I probably played it really bad but the pot size bet and the fact it was a 3-way pot threw me off. Would he really cbet in this spot with 99/AK/AQs? How to play it better next time? Thanks.

Do you have any reads or stats on the villain?
His flop Cbet sizing is big for sure and he’s betting in to 2 players and then is folding not to bad.
I doubt he would often bet with less than an over pair and you don’t beat those hands.

pf: Villain 3bets an early raise. No 99 there. QQ+, AK, AQs. I’m not sure in fullring about the usiual 3betting ranges. TT+? AQ? AJs? Let us say: TT+, AJs+, AQo+.

Flop: He cbets potsize. The board is wet, he has 2 opponents, so a big bet up to potsize is reasonable. QQ+ are his value hands. Of his bluffing range, most probably he will not cbet with Ax without a bonus: a flush draw, perhaps (but seldom against 2) a backdoor flush.

With the bdfds, you have 34% Equity, 1:2 Odds, pot odds of 1:2, and it is a clear call. Without the bdfds, you have 15% equity and a clear fold. I tend to folding.
