AQo ace high vs river bet

If you bet that flop you have to keep on and it might get tricky. In doubt checking is better (and probably more standard even if we don't really care).

OTR it's meh, there are draws but there are made hands, they can totally value thin a Tx or even turn a low PP into a bluff or whatever goes into their poor head. Can't be that bad of a call anyway given the odds, not the type of spot worth getting a headache fine tuning it I'd say.

I think overall is ok. Bet-check-check line is better than bet-bet-check. River price is "ok" as he has some bluffs with no showdown value in his range and you have A high.
This is a hand that plays better IP, so it can become a bit tricky.
Now the details
- Flop cbet is too big to me. I'd check here sometimes. Has floxy said, by betting the flop you have a turn cbet often and it can become diffcult for the river, where you may have to throw a 3rd barrel. You start building a pot and it can end up playing for stacks with a mediocre hand.
- He has position, some made hands and tons of draws in his range. He won't fold OTF often. You can even face a raise.
- Check raising flops as the agressor is a subject I don't understand very well (yet), so I can't really discuss that line.
- Check-call flop and re-evaluate OTT is my option here. Villain probing twice would be a little suspicious and I'd be willing to turn my hand into a bluff at that point.

It's all fine in my opinion apart flop CB - on a dry board you do not need to bet so big.
And you should be CB these flops as played, most often you have the best hand, you keep the initiative ...

Cbet smaller on the flop so you can cbet the turn as well. This way you also know you have to fold the river if he bets.
I don't think I would call OTR as played, this just seems like a value bet most of the time.
