You could raise the flop, to fold out tp type hands. Then check it down, perhaps soak up a bluff on the river.

Or you could just fold the flop.

Or, you could call as played. If you take this line, you want to be calling that river too!

... Pretty shitty spot, but everything goes. Just take a look at the info you have on the villain, even if is just a few hands, or is based on population tendency, then guess the best option.

Since we are so deep and people don't bluff enough on the river I think we can raise/fold the river.

Flushes will raise, weak flushes will maybe call. Sets and stuff will just call. But People still see straight when they have 8x lol.

I'd raise/fold to about 55bb.

Raising the river for value is a little crazy lol. We look real weak. If I was the villain I might well jam bluff over the top! For the same reason, when they reraise I’d be aching to call.

I'd rather raise OTT than OTR.

I'm no fan of bluff shove the river. Especially on NL2.
Raising for thin value is a option, but than you need to fold on a 3bet shove.

Raising for value and protecion on the turn is a decent option as well. Off course you could end up in a nasty spot if you face a 3bet. Than you need to fold.

Calling him down isn't to bad ether.

that's my whole point... We get value by weaker hands and we can lay down when we get raised.

We don’t really get value though. Will the villain bluff catch here with set? Perhaps...

Will he realise we don’t have a flush. Yeah!!!

If he knows we don’t have the flush, all his hands potentially beat us if we raise. It’s a relatively easy jam bluff for him. We don’t have many 8x in our range. We don’t have any hands in our range that can call the re-raise. So dont let him reraise!!

Definitely calling is the best option.
Raise/folding is terrible imo, doesn't make any sense.
You can consider to raise OTT, and even there I believe calling or raising will be similar in terms of +EV.
