the villain is a fish. Do I iso myself with this turn play?

Well played. Often fish overplay draws so would not be surprised to see like KJ or flush draw to bet-call. Any Qx likely calling also. Depending of reads doing some x-r with semibluffs is nice.

I would often just lead the turn here. Most fish are rather passive and will check behind often and not raise our bet here often.

Against a good player or a spewy opponent I agree that we should be balancing, but this isn't the case against a fish. I believe that a bet here will get called by many worse hands by a presumably passive fish!
