I apologize if threads like these are not in the spirit of this forum. If that is the case, let me know.

Nevertheless, I just made this misclick of the day.... Should've maybe done something else instead of folding.

PokerStars - $0.02 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 96 BB
SB: 100 BB
Hero (BB): 137.5 BB
UTG: 69 BB
MP: 259.5 BB
CO: 50.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♦ K♣

fold, fold, CO raises to 3.5 BB, BTN calls 3.5 BB, fold, Hero raises to 9 BB, CO calls 5.5 BB, BTN calls 5.5 BB

Flop: (27.5 BB, 3 players) K♥ T♦ T♥
Hero checks, CO bets 41.5 BB and is all-in, fold, fold,

Stung a little bit.

villain might have TT, against which you have 1 out.
if not that, villain could also have Tx drawing to quads and, as we all know, pokerstars always gives them what they need on the river.

besides that, it's also possible that villain is drawing to the royal flush, and you don't want to be the sucker who pays off a royal flush. fold is good.

All of that did cross my mind as I was going through a sarcastic post-mortem analysis of the hand in order to justify my decision. Thank you for validating my justification to what I did so I feel better. :)

Dude, just gamble here, we still have 1 out...

This is just a easy stack of with KK. If villain has quads it's just a cooler.

Yes, obviously. I was just posting this as a reminder for myself to pay more attention to not autopilot and not forget that "Fold" is on the left and "Call" is on the right.

This is a rather pessimistic evaluation, but I am bad at detecting sarcasm as well, so I'm not sure now... πŸ˜…

Reminds me of thinking about raise size on river with nuts on omaha and timing out in process. Optimal line obviously.

I timed out with Aces preflop recently. There was a 2bet and a 3bet before me, and I was trying to figure out the best 4bet size and didn't pay attention to the timer πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Absolutely!
Trust your misclicks.
They are the mechanism by which the cosmic forces guide our play.
It shows that your midi-chlorians are paying attention, even when you're not.[1]
Just like misclick equity works, ( https://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/world-of-poker/Misclick-earns-poker-pro-$1-million_91166/) misclick folds also are good folds.

Do this search:

for many more examples.

Cheers,

Absolutely.
I 3bet to 5x usually in a spot like this (3x + 1x for OOP +1x per cold caller). But Villain's 2bet is already very large, so make it around 15BB, I'd say.
