Hello,

I consider the BB vs TAG player who raises from this certain position with hands like JJ+, AK, and sometimes with 78s+. Both him and i have 100bb

So CO bets 2b, i call from BUT with T♣:T♦: , SB fold, and BB fire a 3 bet to 12b.
CO fold, and i call . Pot is now 26,4
Flop Comes 5♥:J♥:2♥:
BB bet 8bb and i call. Pot is 42,4
Turn comes 8♠:
BB check and i ( improperly ?) check too
River comes 2♠:
BB Bets 31 bb and i fold

so, the question is should i bet on the turn ?
i think that if i did bet, i could have stop that possible bluff attempt by forcing him to fold. or, in case he had a very good hand and he reraised, i would fold immediately, avoiding a difficult situation on the river .

Your thoughts ?

you should not try to avoid difficult spots. learn to navigate them.

To continue you need some decent equity
:diamond:  dry board with only one overcard
:diamond:  3 undercards
:diamond:  paired board where the pair is less than tens

This is not almost mandatory preflop 3bet though? Especially versus CO minraise call invites bit too likely multiway action for my taste.

This should be a standard 3bet spot indeed against a CO open on the BTN for value. Even against a 3x open I would 3bet TT most of the time.

Flop call is fair enough against a less than 1/3 pot Cbet. It's to bad you have only 1 clean out to hit a set if you are behind.

River I would fold without reads as well with only a bluff catcher.
