Obviously I could not be there in 30 minutes, that's why I took the pic, or it didn't happen. True story.
Good thing I took the screenshot when I did because I felt like playing some more. Shouldn't have done that. Whilst I wasn't playing bad, the so-called setups came numerous, and I think at the end I just spewed a couple of BB's, never a good sign. So after the session I still ended up 71BB for the month, which is still very good, I couldn't help but feel a bit demotivated. Also because I lost my top spot in that top-winner-for-a-day-on-a-meaningless-limit.
After a good but short nights' sleep I now know that feeling demotivated is good for absolutely nothing. I play FL for crying out loud, it won't be the last time I have a standard 40BB swing. Got in a decent amount of hands yesterday thanks to that extra session, I hope my goals will all be achieved!
I'm saving up FPP's to buy The Poker Mindset from the Pokerstars shop. Still around 950FPP to go but I do believe it will be a good investment. I heard a lot of people talk good about that book, so hopefully it will be insightful for me too.

Nothing much happened yesterday, played like 500-ish hands, breakeven for the day. Need to pick up some pace, because I really want to hit Silverstar on Pokerstars and Goldstar here. Not that it checnges much, but it's just one of those goals. I'm at my desktop pc now, so no updates on hands and results, but I'm trying to get HEM working here and transfer my db so I can start 6-tabling. That should help 
Also, read a staking offer from aceontheriver for 9m $1.5 - $3.5 sng's. Think I'm going to try and see if we can work something out. Too bad I f*cked up my sng graph with shots and playing limits I knew I couldn't beat. Also, my samplesize is way too small, but I do believe I have a shot, especially considering how many bad applications are made on the staking forum on a daily basis. His terms are also very interesting for me. If I land the stake, I'll obviously put in the volume and time in sng's and I will postpone my goals of FL to a later stage.

Got Pokerstars and HEM installed on my desktop. 6-tabline here I come. Trying to get some good volume in this weekend! Also, requested hh's from Stars so I have my odd 3.2k hands I played on my laptop this month.
I'm running at 2.05BB/100 which is excellent for me (for my goals it is anyway) but there are just moments where you lose ten pots in a row, making the graph look like a mountainview ^^
Anyhow, gonna start playing now, not that many tables running, but I really want to get Silverstar on Pokerstars so I'm gonna play play play! Next graph update at 5k hands.

Have to say I'd wish I played more tourneys and NLHE myself, because I suck too hard in both, so maybe it's not that bad after all.

Signature owns obv! As for the different games you're right, but if the law here doesn't change I'm going to switch anyhow to sng's. I enjoy FL too much for now to completely abandon it
Just took Opa's FL Chest quiz #1 and #2. The first one handles with playing draws aggressively and the second one makes you think about how to play vs a flopraise when you're the preflop aggressor.
#1: 19/20 (95%) - It seems I have the basic hang of how I should play my draws! Always a good sign!
#2: 10/20 (50%) - Clearly I am losing way too many SB when I'm faced with a flopraise. Something I must look into!Interesting quizzes and I hope many more of them will come
So, reached the 5k mark yesterday. Graph seems like the Alpes, and I for sure had moments where I spewed a couple of BB's, but overall, I'm quite happy with how I play and adjust. Getting coolered quite a lot because of 4 way turns and people who just can't let go of marginal draws against the odds. Ah well, basic variance I guess!

So I landed the stake, which means I'll start grinding sng's from today on and leave the FL for some other time. I beat you G1lius in quiz #1? I OWN!
Since my sng roll will be provided for me, I now have like $59 of my own 'roll' to invest in other players. What a weird world, getting staked and staking at the same time! Yes, I understand that's not something you see every day.
As for your BR question, for 0.25/0.50 I wanted at least 300BB to start with, everything above that would have gotten a 500BB BR minimum.

Ok, thanks to someone who helped me out I found out what was wrong. The table theme in my Tableninja detected that I was using the 'classic' theme, while I was using the 'black' theme. When changing it manually to black, TN gave an error that it had detected otherwise.
Strange... but that means I can start my grind :). I saw a video on 'how to play sngs professionally or something on Pokerstrategy and am very curious what is told there. Unfortunately I need Gold status here, so I need to grind out some odd 300 PS points in order to watch it

Really really happy about my volume, played 51 games today. Made ITM a decent amount of times, but I just didn't win enough HU games. I got to HU 12 times (which is 23.5%, not TOO bad) but I only won 3. That is what's hurting my ROI at the moment and I am not yet comfortable going into HU, although it's mostly push/fold anyhow.
Overall I'm down 4.3BI so nothing to worry about. Like I said, I'm really happy about the volume and concentration I put in, need to work on the level of play and I'm off crushing them.

Didn't play all that much yesterday, was firing up a 25 SNG session, when I saw HEM wasn't working. It struck me how dependent I had become of stats when playing, as I genuinely was scared to play without them. Cancelled all but two that were already opened, got third in both of them.
I saw the only option was to delete the last Windows update, but I'm not too keen on messing about with security updates to be honest...
HEM admitted it's taking way longer than they expected, they released some prebuilds, but I think I'll just wait until they fixed it completely.

New Blink-182 single is out! 
I was such a huge fan of them when I was young and every time I hear them I just fall madly in love with their music because it symbolizes my youth. So many good times I had with their songs playing in the background. I was pretty stoked to hear their new single.
I believe a lot of fans will dislike their sound now, because they sound a bit like AvA (Angels And Airwaves, project started by Tom when Blink split). I've always been a HUGE AvA fan, their music was just mesmerizing to listen to. Live they sucked monkeyballs, but their style was great none the less.
That's why I find this new single quite good actually. They sound grown up, I love the guitars in the new work, they still have my vote. I can understand why many people will dislike it though...
Either way, how 'ok' or 'good' I find their new single, nothing beat the oldskool Blink-182 imo!
There's no such thing as a jinx. WRONG! ♦ I've been talking about moving up limits with my staker, as I am comfortably beating the 1.5's (not really a samplesize, but the level of play speaks for itself). I was on a 7.7% ROI for the duration of the stake and 7.8% ROI for all my 1.5 games (around 400).
Of course, after agreeing to move up after 250 games after the weekend, I was promoted to bubble boy 
I played a small set of 23 games and I got 4th frigging 30.4% of the time. Also, I got 3rd 21.7% of the time which didn't help my overall ROI
Put things short: I'll think I'll play 500 games at the 1.5 level in this stake before moving up. Jinx are obviously real and I don't want to offend it any more...
Please don't think I'm demotivated or am doubting my ability to beat them. SnG can be quite variance heavy, I'm fully aware of that, and breakeven stretches can seem to last forever, I know that. It's just the timing of my bad day after agreeing to move up that kind of struck me. Jinxes, real as hell.
