Yea I play same nh. Bet/call imo is deffo the best way to get value from his bluffs.

I mean there is an argument for just calling turn but imo its a bit of a level to expect him to then spazz out on the river and we don't really want to let like 78 get there.

I would just call the turn and call any river as well. He could bluff the K as a scarecard two times because he wants to put you in a tough spot with Qx and similar hands.

If you shove, he will just call Kx, twopair, sets and maybe JT, 78s and fold all of his bluffs (which are probably the major part of his range).

I had some history, therefore I opted for a turn shove, because imo, his range is mainly 78, 98, 43, or some mid pair and some air hands.

When he RR flop, I exclude sets from his range, and I was confident my As are good.

I don't see him, spazzing out air on turn, so imo my max value line should be to shove turn, and extract value from his draws, (Qx, if he decides to hero call, thinking that I am on a bluff.)

Plus, from his point of view, if I PFR UTG1 / Cbet / CC RR / CC second barrel turn / he should not have any FE on a river push.

With this reads, do you think, shove turn is optimal?

My point was that he percieves himself to have no FE on river hence shoving turn is really optimal since we don't let his 78 get there.

I mean if we think he thinks he has some FE on a river shove - then sure cal turn is gna be more optimal.

78, 98, 43 do not have the right price to call, midpairs will probably fold as well. So you hope that you are up against Kx?

Obv if he is never bluffing the river, you should better shove turn.

Question 1:

Yes I am capable of float flop, bluff jam turn, vs he wright opponents.
But it would be a semi-bluff, 8s7s, 98s or something with decent equity.

But I should know my opponent, hence, have fold equity.

Question 2:

Yes, I have awkward stack size on turn, if I shove he do not have the odds to call with his OESD / GSs. But I cant really RR. OR cold call, since river will be check / fold imo.

Kx hand are not a big part of his range, my idea behind a hero call with Qx, is that he may level himself, that I am on a bluff (semi bluff on turn, since K is a scare card, hence hero call with Qx, if that makes any sense ♠_grin: )

i don't get the shove on the turn. you're turning your hand into a bluff. i like calling turn + calling river. if hes that agressive he will bluff against you. but so i just see calling with better hands like sets. i mean maybe with history the shove is good if he thinks you would never do that with a set or overpair and snaps you with any q or 10++. but if you don't think that just call.
