Hello Alleen86,

For the reason that if he really had a very strong hand then it's often the case that they would rather Check/Raise on turn than donk it. While he may easily even have draws and weaker pairs/PPs in his range for that reason I'd still Call the turn and reevaluate it on river.

But of course folding is just the safest play if you expect the opponent rather not donking with worse or draws.
