im just wondering what software you use to record videos while playing like they do in the video's on this forum?
Camtasia is the usual choice, but it's paid.
Bandicam allows to record a video of up to 10 minutes for free (with its watermark in the corner), after this time you can just restart recording. The 10-minute pieces can then be stitched using some video editor like VirtualDub.
I wouldn't recommend Camstudio because it's really resource-intensive and somehow doesn't recognise my system sound (though it's supposed to record it).
I use FFSplit
It's thought for Twitch streamers, but it's free and full of functionality. You can even compose yout screen with regions of minimized windows and whatnot, so you can even have a "video hud".

If I were a cracker, I wouldn't develop that monster of a program just to slip some virus by.
