The person below me calculate the +ev decision of not paying a train ticket, since the last 2 times he got on the train, there was a checker (where he bought the ticket, and by xp calculated that the checker comes along on every 10th train in avg by long sample size. With a ticket costs of 37 dkkr, and a fine costs 500 dkkr, so 130 dkkr more expensive in the longrun, but since the last two times the train checker was on the train, the value of a fine is now halfed, making it 250+250 to 370+370 over 20 trials, so 740-500=240/20 = 12 dkkr. So therefore 37-12 dkkr = 25 dkkr. So by not buying a ticket he got himself a cheap sale of a ticket of only 25 dkkr in the longrun saving 12 dkkr by not buying the ticket.
