Still waiting for your summary post ![]()
So far it looks like you are making some decent :profit:s ... gz and keep going...
Yea, I'll make the summary post tomorrow. It won't be a very profitable month, I had some bad days ![]()
Yesterday was good again, playing my best poker lately.
SLEEP TIME:
- January 27th - 01:00
Sessions:
- NL25 [520 hands] +16.8$ (EV adjusted +88$)
- NL25 [510 hands] -16.1$ (EV adjusted +23$)
- NL25 [530 hands] +69.5$ (session mistakes: should've folded to the third barrel)

Tournaments:
- Spin & Go $5 [4 tournaments - 2 wins] +10$
Positive hand of a day: Money saved - money won 6♣:6♥:
Bluff of a day:
- K♠:9♥: - my only three barrel bluff of a day, and luckily it worked
So my month ends now, since I'll be going for a skiing trip.
And it's time for the summary ![]()
SLEEP TIME:
- January 28th - 01:00
Sessions:
- NL25 [510 hands] +5.0$
- NL25 [280 hands] +41.4$ (session mistakes: should've folded the river)
Bluff of a day:
- 4♥:2♥: - his weak turn bet and scary river card, seemed like a great spot
JANUARY SUMMARY
NL25:
- 45958 hands: -182.91$ (EV adjusted: -82.78$), winrate: -1.59 (VPIP: 31.1, PFR: 25.8, 3bet: 9.2)

Most of the loss came from testing a very aggressive playstyle, did a lot of mistakes and tilted off sometimes. The chaotic graph just proves it ![]()
It got better at the end of the month, when I went back to more careful playstyle and didn't chase the red line.
NL50:
- 15540 hands: +305.77$ (EV adjusted: +957.03$), winrate: +3.94 (VPIP: 28.8, PFR: 23.2, 3bet: 9.1)

TOURNAMENTS:
- Spin & Go $5 [204 tournaments - 85 wins] +140$
- Various 6max tournaments [24 tournaments of 150$ - 4 ITM of 71$] -79$
- TCOOP Satellites [9 satellites of 60$ - 4 ITM of 136$] +76$
BONUS:
- VPP Stellar Reward [10000 VPP] +150$
- $600 VIP Reward Bonus [40000 FPP] +600$
OVERALL: +1010$
So after all I'm quite happy with the result. And EV ows me massive 750$, so there's plenty of potential for better profit.
About the discipline - there's also a lot of room for improvement - quite often I didn't go to sleep in time. Also I need to work on my tilt management, apparently sometimes 500 hands sessions are not short enough ![]()
Well, see you in 10 days! May the poker gods be on your side
Ok, I'm back!
As it happens quite often, couldn't get back in poker after a holiday, spent the whole week doing nothing, also ruined my sleep times ![]()
No surprise, that yesterday was quite horrible.. Need to start over again ![]()
SLEEP TIME:
- February 17th - 03:15
* Punishment for discipline error: today's sleep time 0AM.
Sessions:
- NL25 [550 hands] +52.3$
- NL25 [550 hands] -53.48$ (session mistakes: river had to be a check, a great card for aggressive villain to bluff)
- NL25 [550 hands] -24.9$
- NL50 [200 hands] -128.2$ (session mistakes: should've flatted pre, since villain has a very high 4bet%)

Tournaments:
- Spin & Go $3 [40 tournaments - 17 wins] +30$
Bluff of a day:
- K♥:T♥: - continuing the turn most probably would result in a call, so I decided to take the stronger line (also I'd play AA like this a lot).
Good to have you back.
Nice hand - that said, imo there is more value having KTs in your calling range SBvsBTN, though I guess it depends on your opponents. Is KTs typically in your 3b range SBvsBTN or are you exploiting a known opponent? If the former, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter.
MD
ps - I'm sure you'll get back to winning ways soon enough.
Villain was a reg, with a high number of stealing from BTN and folding to 80% 3bets. So it seemed like a good spot to take dead money instantly, and good enough hand to catch something post flop, if he calls. And easy enough hand to fold to a 4bet.
I think that by 3betting you miss the equity you have vs his BTN opening range and have reverse implied odds when you 3bet and get called. Essentially I think it makes a lot more sense to 3bet worse and better hands and drop this in our flatting range. Of course, 3betting vs a guy that folds too much is never terrible but perhaps not the most profitable option. Just how I see it.
Do you think we should 3bet villains that fold too much in these spots 100% of the time (discounting considerations of the BB for the sake of discussion) until they adjust? Or aim to be a little more balanced?
About KTs, against what kind of reg/villain you would rather just call it? And as played his calling 3bet range must be pretty tight. Do you think it will be a little more weaker when he call it IP?
To be fair, I don't usually 3bet KTs, only in that situation it seemed like a good option. Against a guy, who doesn't 4bet bluff, I'd rather play this hand OOP having an initiative.
I think calling, or 3betting, are both viable options here, maybe the main factor should be the guy sitting on the BB (if it's a fish, better would be just flat and invite fish to the pot; ..and if it's a squeeze happy regular - we probably should prevent that by 3betting ourselves) ![]()
MasochisticDesire, against guys who fold to too much 3bets, it's better to have a polarizing range (and more towards 3bet bluffing), and keep most of your value hands for flatting. KTs is a marginal hand, in my opinion, and it's rather situational.
SLEEP TIME:
- February 18th - 00:10
Sessions:
- NL25 [500 hands] +21.8$
- NL25 [550 hands] +47.3$
- NL25 [530 hands] +13.1$
- NL25 [550 hands] -99.6$ (half unlucky, half tilty)
- NL50 [550 hands] +6.5$
- NL50 [520 hands] +232.2$

Seems that it didn't take long to get back on track ![]()
Also sorry for not posting any hands, was playing mostly abc poker yesterday and apparently there were no super interesting hands

Agreed, though IMO KTs is neither weak enough or strong enough to 3bet but I appreciate that it is situational and both are valid. NH nonetheless.

NutzAreOk - only reg I would 3b this SBvsBTN is if they had a very tight BTN opening range that KTs doesn't have enough Eq to flat OOP but a high fold to 3b so that KTs becomes an appealing hand to 3b bluff as it holds blockers and some playability when called.
Yes, BB 3b calling range is likely to be wider then in other positions. Whilst that range is unlikely to include weaker K's, it may include weaker T's and FD's - hence why there are arguments for playing it either way.
Hunky - just shy of 5BI in 1k hands, nice!
Thank you for the feedback ![]()
Anyway, yesterday was a bit frustrating, didn't run good.. Also didn't played my best poker - bluffed in bad spots. Very unhappy with my red line.
SLEEP TIME:
- February 19th - 01:10
Sessions:
- NL25 [550 hands] +23.8$
- NL25 [550 hands] -47.3$ (several coolers
) - NL25 [550 hands] +11.7$
- NL25 [550 hands] -51.1$ (session mistakes: really bad board to cbet, not to mention three barrel)
- NL25 [550 hands] +30.3$

Positive hand of a day: Sometimes being tilty pays off 9♣:7♥:
Bluff of a day:
- 4♥:4♠: - his cbet looked weakish, so I floated with an intention to bluff out JJ-KK, if he gives up. There's no need to start bluffing on the turn, a lot of players check their
on the turn.
Sorry for not updating the topic. Having a few horrible days, completely lost the rhythm of poker, can't win a single hand.
Need a couple of days break to figure things out, review the database, watch some coaching videos.
It's time to update the results of the whole month, which actually turned out to be ~one week ![]()
But at least I'm motivated now to have a way better and productive March.
SLEEP TIME:

Well this is beyond bad. Probably even calling station would have a better winrate ![]()
Although I was running really really bad and it felt like I'm having only coolers this month, and of course it was followed by tilt.
NL50:
- 4441 hands: +310.87$ (EV adjusted: +227.26$), winrate: +14.0 (VPIP: 24.0, PFR: 18.7, 3bet: 5.6)

Second month in a row NL50 seems to be way better than NL25. Quite sure I'm playing way too aggressive and too many hands for NL25.
Blue line seem to be really good at nl25. I have kinda similar problem, by improving my red line i have screwed blue one. ![]()
Why you're not playing nl50 only?
I usually used NL25 for warm-ups or for days, when I'm not in a good mood for poker. Apparently it can be seen in the results ![]()
I'll try to play more of NL50 this month.
