MTT's for fun ;)

Started today even though I haven't got the screen yet. I deposited 810e incommon to stars, stars.fr, carbon poker, and 888. Played 19 tournament's had 2 deep runs, 8th at 10d headhunt at stars.fr and 1.st at 11d 2,5k GT at 888. The 888 payed out smthing like 500d.

My Holdem manager is crazy it shows that I made rebuys for 1,5k usd at one tournament and doesn't show the result's honest so I counted by myself from how much I deposited and how much I have now. Final outcome 449 profit - some of the sites are on euro some on dollar so it's in between 420 and 460. Fair enough for me, good start. My challenge is to keep on playing MTT, keep documenting result's and staying out of cash games. They make me tilt.... !!! Also has helped me a lot to not take poker too seriously. You realy need to enjoy playing and making good plays - whether they are calls folds or raises doesn't really matter.

3) Right before FT cheap bluff, I think button stabs here super wide and has a lot pressure even we raise super small and don't rep much. It also looks stronger since it's 3-way even though original raiser very likely giving up. I woudn't do this against good players espc. at higher limits.

4) Villain plays tight so no reason realy to cbet here. His small bet looks like protection 8x should not be often in his range vpip 15 - even though this is somewhat special 4handed and deep. Anyhow flop CR is an option as well as flop float, cbetting and barreling off also not terrible. Turn hit's our range - building up a donkbetting range is imo reasonable, putting pressure on his small pocketpairs by betting twice AQ, KQ and also some bluffs. Otherwise if he checks back turn we should probably pot bet river I guess - or overbet. I like my line here.

Today I've been studying for exams from 8 to 3pm. Had kind of hard time concentrating. After studying I jogged a short track and made my usuall muscle training + had ice cold shower, had dinner and cup of coffee. That after I opened poker softwares and prepared myself to grind. I didn't felt realy refreshed so I decided to not force myself to play and took a day off.

Lately I've been playing like 3-4 days a week and have been studying 5 days a week, 7-8hours daily. Sport helps me to concentrate but today I had a little bit of burnout feeling. Could also be the weird whether that influences my mind. I probably play a session tomorrow after boxing.

What I want to say is that in poker the quality of time you invest is much more valuable once you can use your full potential everytime you play. Play in the zone and keep on rockin..! Poker is not a 9 to 5 job where you get paid the same price whatever you do. Putting in mad volume and playing auto pilot is usually just -EV in poker and even more -EV in life. Ofc. everything depends on various factors but many players overvalue volume and undervalue mentalgame stuff.....!

Heavy day, got my screen yesterday and it works realy perfectly I just finished my MTT session, ended 57d on profit, had one real nice deeprun at 10e storm at stars.fr finished 10th it sucks ofc. to bust right before FT. Made one realy tight fold, ATM I was like 5th in chips and folding would drop me to 7th or something and calling would turn me 2nd. I wasn't realy sure at all what to do I felt I can wait for better spot to get it in because I had edge on stealing small pots putting pressure etc. So I decided to fold here. After this I was completely card death and made a mandatory 11bb shove w, J9 and busted vs Kj. I also played a bit cash games because they are realy soft on weekends cash games went well too.

I probably make a proper session rewiev tomorrow and post some more hands here. I got to say I realy love to play with the new screen I can get 12 tables without that they are one upon another...!

Wanted to play MTT session today but now just feeling unconcentrated and have to skip........ Morning started well coffeeing and playing cash for few hours, taking dogs out for a long walk now I don't know what's going on, maybe just better off chill out have a few beers and maybe sauna.

With the screen I can tableselect super well like picking up the best tables from 888 and stars. The 888 software is quite terrible you get kind of outblinded a ton and stuff no idea but it sucks. Anyhow games seem soft.

Played 21 today. Had to delete two where the HEM was showing I made rebuys for 522 dollars or something....

Only deeprun 5e stars.fr 6-max 10th and 25e or something. I began my session with super good consentration but it kind of dropped cause I realized I forgot my boxing training today and had to watch out for dogs and people coming by unexpected, phone ringing etc. bullshit....!!!

1) Funny hand vs. some reg. his minraise w. 0 equity - could be okay if I would cbet fold this a ton. Turn is hilarious - he is polarizing himself by the minraise, I don't expect ever to see a flush there. River looks like a valuebet but he reps like only a set of threes and I expect a set to be checking the turn most of the time and pretty much always raising bigger on draw heavy flop.......... So what can u do.

3) Villain was playing loose and I had tight image so decided to 3bet - expecting to show instant profit... Still a bit too shitty hand without info. Flop I would probably x/call once depending on sizing & timing. 3 barreling may be option. Villain seemed to be a reg even though he didn't auto reload.... I had a very loose image - I guess a very small cbet on such texture that favours our range is good. Encourages villain to make more mistakes flatting marginal hands on flop OOP and getting out of line on the turn. His turn lead looks like small pocketpair that want's to protect his equity or a flushdraw, or A-high or some random float w, KQ that want's to drop my bluffs. I decided to minR with the intention to probably xback river once he jams I guess he is out of line w. something random good amount of time. I was wrong this time but I still like my line, we also block T9 strongly and since I was 3betting loose I expect him to be 4bet calling JJ+ pre realy most of the time. I realy love playing 50nl-100nl just 3-4tabling having great edge to regs who play 10-15 tables.

It was like 23 left I was something like 3-5 st in chips he was probably 2nd or chipleader. He 3bet me once again and I folded my image was tight so I tought it's super good spot to min4b bluff w. blocker even though we risk like 30% of our stack. He flats which is strange when SPR is 1-1 postflop....... And the results!!! ♦

Ah or Kh, also I was wondering whether I should shove turn or not - not much to protect actually, once we expect villan to shove pretty much everything he want's to get it in on turn. 1) Wasn't sure if he was a fish or a reg, stats after 100hands were 20/18 still could also 3bet iso pre but flatting fine too. Flop we should raise bigger like 3d. Turn I think is fine, he snap called which indicates more Ax than Qx if Qx then he has a FD with it usually. Based on turn timing I think shoving river is higher EV than betting pot or smaller. Ax never folds basically vs. any sizing

2) Vs. a fish the river..... Since we block T9 and just split w. any Ax and loose to fullhouses and have no info about villain it's pretty close imo.

3) Villain is a loose reg, on the river he is on 77-99 Tx maybe some overpairs. He probably folds 77-99 anyways Tx I'm not sure but I think it's a fine spot to overbet to rep super thinly 66,TT or quads w. 44. I think he will see us ending up bluffin the river too wide and not having a lot flush combos we could have and think we usually try to attack his somewhat capped range.... Villain pretty much snapped river. Pretty good example how much value u loose by using standard betsizes and autopiloting..!

Sunday was complete day-off because of hangover... Today still hangover a bit, and I've been lazy. Fortunately I have boxing today, so I get rid of this shitty lazy feeling once I get punched to my head a few times !!!
