played my first MTT session this month. Started well..... I've been reading some blogs and it seems like ppl. who love poker and play for fun, improve and show up with good results..... Ppl. who bitch and moan about bad results and praise their super great work ethic usually don't make money...... In poker pride is your enemy.

Putting in mad volume, but running bad lately. 2,5k down in a week, Incl. -300e slots today. Fucking stupid....! Dissapointed to myself, anyhow have 6,5k bankroll, so everything is still possible. I'll take few days off then put more effort on studying the game and dropping stakes to 30e freeze max, and 11d 1r1a max. (risking max.30e/usd on one tournament.). I know it's nitty but I feel like I'm not crushing at midstakes +........... So moving down to get my confidence back.

Doing good at boxing btw. sparring a lot and afraid of nothing! Realy love to give 100% and still get beat up.... ! That's what improves me. I guess it's kind of same with poker, no downswings -> lazy never studying etc.

-> "Now, when we fought, you had that eye of the tiger, man; the edge! And now you gotta get it back, and the way to get it back is to go back to the beginning. You know what I mean? " !!!!

2min sparring rounds, 2min pushups & musclestuff, 2min sparring 2min stuff, 45min in a row! BUAH! Home and some GC's, HIT THE SACK! Getting my confidence back at 50nl zoom also shotting bit 100nl zoom..... More agressive a lot 5betting etc. things change ppl. use to be nitty at 100nl zoom and crazy monkey at 50nl.... Playing good, expect one spazz play at 100nl yesterday for 200bbs.... I stick on 50nl playing daily cash and night's MTT*s .

Blaah, 5e storm 8th the only deeprun. Running bad playing bad. Now studying headsup ranges... I think if you are realy good at headsup you probably crush 6-max. Headsup forces you to think...... Bit of a shame that no one at 50-100 seems to be wanted to play.... Maybe it's because of my "scary lord Woldemort avatar".....

I have a mild perception disorder, can't read a map and have troubles on perceiving 3D objects for example I draw like a little child ! But it effect's also in a way that I sense things easily.... As an example I've been always good at relying on timingtells on poker but realy hard for me to understand ranges as a whole....... Still working and improving on it.... Love the game.

Didn`t notice this new "blog" of yours until now. :)

Good move to switch to MTT for you imo. Because your CG background you must have quite good edge postflop vs field.

So will this be your main game now since you`re still playing CGs too? Have you considered maybe a coaching for CGs if you feel like you`re running breakeven all the time and can`t take the next step? Or did I understand wrong? :)

Thanks for ur post Nutz!

I'm kind of sick to MTT variance even though I feel ATM I make much better money playing MTT's than cash. Now I still have the opportunity to try beat CG stakes I've always been kind of breakeven because I have now the needed bankroll and time to put more effort on playing and studying so I'll kind of play both cash and MTT's..... I don't think coaching is often a solution, ppl. who coach are mostly ppl. who don't make enough money by themselves by playing....

I try at nl100 zoom to play fairly tight and solid I feel ppl. are getting out of line and fighting too much so I guess the way to fight back is to play tighter ranges and letting them to pay off. Ofc. there are also some decent players who play much better than me but also against those ppl. the best strategy is imo. definitely to avoid fighting too much and try to stick to solid default ranges....

I guess nl100 is in too ways easier level to beat than 50nl 1) cheaper rake 2) more fishes imo

20/16/8 reg. // The range that cbets wants really to barrel the turn or CR it for value so I see more merit's on X/back turn than betting it out. River betsize (?).... Shovign would maybe look even more spazzy, maybe like 77-99 turned into a bluff.

Poker is a lot about taking small details into consideration and therefore finding a solution for a hand. If you are tilted tired or exhausted or autopiloting you usually make a ton of mistakes. I've improved lately on categorizing players and understanding how to play against different types of players and my mistakes are not anymore that huge spazz monkey tilt mistakes as they where before. Now my mistakes are more like equity mistakes......

As an example here the BB (27/18) just defends so much 87o and QJo combos that even the turn is close and river is definitely not a vbet since we have 25% equity vs. his range.... But as long I analyze hands and try to be as honest to myself as I can and have a strong mindset and don't be afraid of moving up or losing money I'll improve and someday crush....!

Soon going to boxing and making hand analysis in the evening and building up some BB vs SB 3bet ranges!!! Have a great day all fighters!!!

Yeah. This today ...... Last hand before I played KQ and thinked a bit about it while playing and my brain totally messed up that this 77 is KQ again. The whole hand. And I'm playing fresh after 8 hours sleep, crazy...! Don't ever think about results or last hand while playing just concentrate on the hands u play and try keep third eye open if concentration drops or you start tilting..... Everything else costs money as we can see.

2) Vs. 2fish on the river. I'm not very good at this sort of math spots. Just feel they most x/back worse Qx and I would prob. bluffcatch a shove from one of them depending timing small bet I would snap. But as played eazy fold imo.

4) He looked kind of nitty and his turn line smells like nuts slightly deeper. But just blah guess have to calldown see some draws some of the time now as played turn we have a lot better hands to call on the river.

Turn : He might x/c Ax for range protection which makes bluffshoving terrible. If he checks river I would turn this into a bluff getting him off QQ, KK..

4bet pots are interesting. Some people are scared some people overvalue their handstrenght some get out of line a ton I feel there is a lot of value getting inside heads and not fearing to be a contender.
