:diamond:WHEN: TUESDAYS 20:00 CET
:heart:WHERE: https://www.twitch.tv/pokerstrategydotcom
:diamond:WHAT: It's 2017, the Poker world has changed, yet many myths about microstakes remain.
In this series we put common beliefs about the micros to the test!
Each week your coach will look at a "fact" about the micros and why it makes sense to believe in it.
Only to spend the rest of the coaching trying to de-bunk it and prove once and for all if it's a myth worth busting. We will use the forums, theory, live play, graphs and more during this series, and every episode will be different!

And then it's only up to you my friend to choose what you believe in!
So make sure to join us live every Tuesday to join the discussion and challenge your coach!

SCHEDULE

WEEK1 7th FEBRUARY: Playing my range belongs only to high stakes
- Video

WEEK2 14th FEBRUARY: Tight is right: There's no point in bluffing at micro stakes
- Video

WEEK3: 21st FEBRUARY: ABC: Straightforward play is the way to beat the micros - Video

WEEK: 28st FEBRUARY: BONUS: No money on micros, everyone's solid - Video

Hey I missed your steam! What a pity. It's there a way to watch it now? Did someone record it and upload it?

Hey marcheloka,

All of the coaching recordings will be uploaded here.
It usually takes some time before the video gets uploaded. I believe this one will be there during the next week.

Regards,
la55i

Hello.

Last week's recording is now available here, however it requires a Silver status to watch. If you cannot play tracked and you don't want to invest in Silver status (that's only $5 per month if you buy a package for 12 months), I can recommend you this promotion where for just discussing hands with others you can get 5 bonus StrategyPoints per day (up to 150 per month = Silver status) and also win additional prizes.

See you tomorrow on Twitch, second stream as always will be for free.

Cheers!

This hand got a good debate.

I don't know if it fits around tonight's theme. but if it's about bluffing, you could go over it with different run outs after the flop

Great idea!
If you want to help out with tonight's mythbusting
simply post successful microstakes bluffs right here and we'll go over them in our session in a few hours!

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♥ K♣

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, SB raises to 9 BB, fold, Hero calls 6.5 BB

Flop: (19 BB, 2 players) 3♥ 8♥ 6♥
SB bets 11.81 BB, Hero calls 11.81 BB

Turn: (42.63 BB, 2 players) T♦
SB checks, Hero bets 17 BB, SB calls 17 BB

River: (76.63 BB, 2 players) Q♣
SB checks, Hero bets 36 BB, fold

Hero wins 73.19 BB

I turned my busted nutflush fd into a riverbluff, could probably have overbet the river to make his riskreward even worse.

Reasoning for the flat pre is simply because villian was new at the limit and haven't seen him before so decided to play with cauction IP.

I know this isn't a bluff but it's a bluffcatcher vs a very polarized range. that is mainly JTs or JJ 44 55 (22+3 combos of TT) he don't like to fold preflop.

The only problem with having AA is that we block broadway combos. Villian seems pretty aggro over all small sample.

Hello guys!
We need your help for next week's myth-busting where we'll try to put the belief that "ABC Straightforward play is the only way to beat The micros" to the test!

So make sure to Post hands you played unconventionally at NL2-NL25 and we'll feature them in our life session on Tuesday!

Hey guys, we're up in about 10 hours
This time I really need your help trying to bust the belief that ABC Play is the best way at The Micros!
And remember, if you have fun non-abc hands you played, simply post them here and they'll be featured during the coaching

Nothing :roto2:
I was just a bit frustrated because I ran bad. Then I decided to bluff OTR because villain looks weak when he checks twice. But when he raised I understood that I look weak too and I thought it is likely he is bluffing my bluff so i decided to bluff him out of his bluff ;)
