Well, that's the thing. I didn't think about the hand thoroughly while I played it, but in retrospect I think, as you say yourself, that calling might be better..

Preflop is a very optimistic.

Flop looks like an easy call. You have enough equity to call, your hand plays well on almost all turns. If you raise, getting 3bet is really bad for you. If you get called, it's alright, but there is some turns where it doesn't play too well. He probably doesn't call very often though, he is mostly going to jam-or-fold vs your raise I imagine. (Also, you have weaker draws that you can bluff raise with.. any of the gutshots 65 76 Q9 etc, so you really dont need to raise a fd.)

The only thing clearly in favor of raising is raising to induce a 3bet bluffs where you can jam over the top. If that is your plan, or at least part of the reason to raise, I would like a much smaller raise though, to $40 - $50, to give him room for a small 3bet.

On the turn you would rep Jx if you bet. You should raise some Jx on the flop. You'd also rep turned clubs as well as a lot of other potential semibluffing hands though (a ton of gutshots available on the flop), so you don't want to bluff there too much. With your hand I am not so sure whether to jam or not. Jamming is def OK.

I have a feeling that you dont get many turn folds though, so I prefer the turn checkback. River check yeah. You win there a fair bit actually (AK AQ, other busted draws, 4x), so that's nice.
