Using Powerpoint in Videos
1. Preparation
Using power-points is an effective and organized way of delivering a lesson, provided you arrange the slides properly. It can be opened via camtasia along with the recorder.

We refer to power-points as "theory" or "seminar videos". These are very popular in our communities, as they deliver structured and prepared information. With the help of PowerPoint presentations, we can put across poker theory to our members (or even other areas such as psychology, tilt management, etc... ) Specific topics are also effective in a theory video; with the topic in question being looked at in-depth and researched by the author, we can deliver a power of knowledge to our users using this method.
2. Recording
First, set up your content in a PowerPoint presentation. (See the above guide for pointers; download our template)

Start the Camtasia software, in the top-left, select Record PowerPoint. This will automatically open PowerPoint. Select the PowerPoint file that you want to record and load it. The recorder should open with power-point as a function. Always make a test recording first. Scroll through the slides using the arrow keys during recording. Press "done" or "Esc" to finish recording.
